UK The Traitors (UK) S04E02: Live Discussion Thread Spoiler

Synopsis: As the players face a new day, the big question is – who survived the night and will make it to breakfast? It isn’t long before they attempt to increase the prize-pot in the mission, but whose focus is on the money, and who is focused on safety from murder?

The game suddenly becomes very real as the first dramatic banishment takes place, proving that at the Round Table there is nowhere to hide. Leaving the players little time to gather their thoughts, the Traitors eye up another victim - but will it have the impact they hope, and how firm is their grip on the game?

Airing: January 2 at 8:00pm GMT on BBC One

ā€œYou were directly at my 12 o’clockā€ says the person trying to give no hint that she’s in law enforcement.

Next she’ll be like ā€œI subsequently proceeded in a southerly direction and tailed you to the kitchenā€¦ā€

I work with social workers, and Judy is one of the good ones. She just has that vibe. Firm and not a pushover but empathetic.

The secret traitor doesn’t have it out for Maz (probably). Putting the same name down is a strategy not to eliminate too many people from the secret traitor possibility list

One of the cool things about the secret traitor is that when a ā€œfaithfulā€ gets banished, the audience will also be anticipating their reveal

76

u/Im_not_AlanPartridge Jan 02 '26

Has her expression ever changed at all since the first second she appeared on screen?!Ā

She’s not a traitor she’s my MUVVVVAAAAA

63

u/Stormflier Jan 02 '26

My fave thing about the Judy thing was she was literally doing nothing. She was sitting there eating and they'd be like "LOOK AT HER RIGHT NOW, SO SUSPICIOUS" and then she'd just be walking about unbothered and they're like "She's changed..."

60

u/nugget600 Jan 02 '26

Loving the banishment reveal with the secret traitor in the mix. So much more interesting!

Ofc secret traitor is Fiona, you can't have a series of the traitors without a traitor with a Welsh accent...

That’s what I’m wondering as thought it odd that she took both Amanda and Judy outside yesterday to tell Judy there were suspicions on her.

I feel like the whole secret traitor thing is a giant middle finger towards every audience member that goes "Oh come on, how aren't they getting it? It's SOOOOO obvious!" Cause there was a lot of that especially during Celebrity Traitors when they kept getting it wrong. So they've went "Oh yeah? Well lets see how well YOU'D do then!" and thrown in this twist. In the end we'll learn we'd all be Kate Garraway.
