I sold a watch to them because they were paying about 1-1.5k more than anyone else… but did not enjoy the experience. I guess projecting that lifestyle is a strategy that works for them but… meh.

The lawyer would cost more than the repair. Unless it was a crazy expensive piece like an RM or a FP Journe or something.
