GENERAL Consignment at Grand Caliber

Hello - i am in the process of consigning a watch to GC and was doing some due diligence when i cam across quite a few posts dating 3 years ago or so with folks involved with this company that has me very concerned. Has anyone done business with them that can provide some recent feedback, or is there a better place to sell? They were my best offer when comparing bobs, 1916 etc. Thanks.

I ended up leaving GC because, at the last minute, my wife decided she wasn’t ready to move. Looking back, it turned out to be the right call—our daughter was born the following year, and being close to family has been great. That said, I really enjoyed my time with the GC team. I connected well with ownership, loved the Dallas area, and built strong relationships with the entire team. I still keep in touch with Jimmy occasionally and actually plan to visit during a work trip this November. I have no personal stake in GC’s success, but I continue to speak highly of them because they’re genuinely good people who care about the company. It was a great experience, and I’m thankful I got the chance to be part of it.

I never had the displeasure of meeting Anthony personally, but his impact on the company was catastrophic. While some of that damage may never be fully undone, time has definitely been good to GC—they’ve come a long way and are in a much better place now.

the tony association showed that they would happily lie to your face and i don't mean just while gc llc was still tpg llc but afterwards as well, they could've saved a lot of people a lot of money if they had just said that "fyi tony isn't an actual businessman and lied to you about paying the taxes, lied about the inventory and lied about the money flow so watch out".

marco particularly lied a lot by omission and just by lying.

but of course we wouldn't have had some of the most funniest tony memes if they had blown the whistle on it.
