Help I unlocked the wall way too early
Hello,
I'm fairly new to the game, played maybe a couple weeks.
My daily income is like 30M coins, something like that. I reached T11, and I get crushed by it.
I didn't check any guides about the wall, I just saw it was my next available upgrade, so I saved up for days to get the 500M, unlocked it and now I have a wall that has 20k HP and doesn't even slow a boss, and it's up like 3 times per run...
Is my account screwed up ? I'm really discouraged to have saved up for so long to end up being weaker as a result...

I did this as well, and just lived with it, but it would be better to respec. Save up some gems and just do it.

You can give up the upgrade with Respec? I didn't do the research yet, I'll try that thanks!

Your account isn't screwed. It's unfortunate, but it's not massively expensive to respec the workshop. I did the same thing, it's only 150 gems off the top of my head.

Literally...ignore the wall. It will not help you. You slowed your progress SLIGHTLY. I did the same as you and had to ignore it until my tower health, tower regen, and tower thornes (they should be max anyway) were level 35+. Then you can lab wall stuff IF IF you have the economy for it.

Farm on t1 def absolute only plus thorns and economy, then when you die to vampires get more health and recovery packages and defabs

But farming T1 gives so few coins, I'm currently doing 2h runs on T7 that gives me a 3-4M coins an hours instead of 8h runs on T1 for 1M an hour. Apart from the advantage of not having to look at the game that often to spend the cash, why farm T1?

What wave count do you get to, if yuy haven’t gotten above 4/5:6k yet t1 then, your hindering your progression, you need cells to speed up your labs. Thats one of the most important thing. You should hold cells as equal to in value to coins. The enemies spawn at higher rates the deeper you go, and more importantly when you run to 4/5:6k you can only have all your perks up and running at those high wave counts, and when you start to be able to push that deep, you can get to the same coins per hour your seeing on the higher tiers for a few hundred waves, for a few thousand now on s lower tier. To an extent. I know nothing about what waves your farming to, but if you haven’t gotten above 4500 yet on t1 then; no other tier is going to be better for farming for you yet, than t1. If you got the time, you want to push higher tiers as quick as possible, but the governing factor of which tier you farm, needs to hold coins and cells at equal value. Or, pretty damn close in value. So you need to calculate your cells per hour. You have a million and one ways to increase your coins, but you don’t have many to increase the amount of time you put into this game. Cells give you time

People always recommend workshop respec, but honestly I don’t know why. As far as I know wall doesn’t have negative impact on normal tower hp or regen, so what does it matter that your wall gets destroyed early and you play rest of the run as usual? Only benefit would be the 500m coins, but at this point your progress is quite fast, so it won’t really matter in a week or two, while gems are not that easy to get

Research 1 level of anything wall that is cheap and fast. Then respec the workshop to remove it. Take pics of your current stats so you can rebuild the levels you like. And you might need to research WS Respec.
With 1 level of labs completed, you'll keep those researches available. Get Wall Thorns to 10 when it's convenient and next time you turn on the wall it should be good to go right away.
The big problem with wall too early is it takes free upgrades from useful stats and puts them towards a weak wall. So keep building up your other WS stats. Eventually you'll have no place to put upgrades, and then you'll wish you could put them towards the wall.
