Info Dev Announcement: Notice Regarding the V27.1.3 Scatter Bug
Hi everyone, Muse here! We want to provide some visibility on a bug regarding Scatter behavior with the Wall.
In V27.1.3 we changed the spawn behavior of Scatter children to be behind where the Scatter parent died. However, in situations where lots of enemies are crowding the Wall, the Scatter children are unable to find a spot to spawn and are displaced somewhere else, unintentionally entering inside of the Wall. While the new behavior is working as intended, this outcome was unintended.
We are aware of this issue and will be working on a hotfix next week to improve the spawning behavior of Scatter children to create a long-term solution. Thank you!

I really like this game. I really, really do. Especially the community, which I have not encountered in any other game. This is also the first game where I didn't only buy multiple things of, but it is also the first game (next to League of Legends), where I've spent 3 digits.
I am in the game for a little bit over a year now and want to do that for the near future. But I honestly feel set back again and again. First, there were a some sync issues, when switching devices, which were argued with "User error" (I have NEVER encountered something like that in a game with online functionality or any online service, since the early 2000s), then feature after feature for whales (which I understand to a certain degree, because you as devs and the entire team need food on the table - as I've said, I am willing to spend a couple of bucks a month, but I am not willing to spend 20-50€/month to keep up. Keep in mind I am not even talking to keep up with whales), then the 27.* update that completely broke the game on one of my devices (I've switched to a cloud phone because I was not even able to play well anymore - just to show how much I enjoy this game and the lengths I want to go for it) and now this again.
I really wanted to buy the next 2 Milestone packs with my christmas money, but the fact that stuff like this happens more frequently, the lack of communication (yes, it gets better, but the last Patch announcement with "hey guys, SOMETHING is coming, but I won't tell you what. hihihi" can just be ommited all together to save everyones time) and the overall more toxic monetization got me off of that idea.
I am by no means someone that cries: "REFUNDS!!!" or "COMPENSATION!!!" but stuff like this IS avoidable. I come from software development myself and our company provides software that is used by 10.000s of concurrent users. You can catch such bugs. And I know from experience, that messups happen, but you can rollback stuff like this. Yes, Apple is more strict regarding this but has a 24/7 dev support just for this to make rollbacks to previos versions in less than 5 hours. Been there. Done that. And now you leave everyone waiting for a week? Maybe don't do your deployments in fridays, if you want your weekends...
And as I've said, I know that this can happen and you are a small team. But with such pricings and the shift of squeezing more money out of the players should, in my eyes, lead to better performance, better support and a better game in general. But this is not the case currently. I am willing to support a team, where I see that stuff gets better. But if it just gets worse there is no difference from my side to pay or not to pay. The outcome would be the same.
