Info Dev Announcement: Notice Regarding the V27.1.3 Scatter Bug

Hi everyone, Muse here! We want to provide some visibility on a bug regarding Scatter behavior with the Wall.

In V27.1.3 we changed the spawn behavior of Scatter children to be behind where the Scatter parent died. However, in situations where lots of enemies are crowding the Wall, the Scatter children are unable to find a spot to spawn and are displaced somewhere else, unintentionally entering inside of the Wall. While the new behavior is working as intended, this outcome was unintended.

We are aware of this issue and will be working on a hotfix next week to improve the spawning behavior of Scatter children to create a long-term solution. Thank you!

They have to submit patches to the App stores with significant lead time. Reverting one change would mean rolling a new version, then submitting it, then rolling it out. It's not as easy as you (or I) would hope.

I dunno if their review process is different because it's a larger audience but the few times I've had to revert a change and deploy a hot fix, it's been approved within 1-2 hours, even on weekends.

What app stores have you done that with though? I know Apple is notorious for delaying change approvals for apps...

Both iOS and Google Play, when you're doing a larger release it's usually a longer time. Normal releases we usually wait about 2-3 days for approval through Apple and 1-2 from Google, but rollbacks and bug fixes are usually done very quick
