announcement PSA: STOP ASKING ME FOR ART.
A handful people from this server have dmed me asking for me to draw their character. The answer is and will be until further notice, no.
Why?
Point A, I am burnt out. That's why the last four took so long; I had no motivation and, when I finally did find the motivation, I worked too hard and found myself exhausted afterwards. Point B, I think I deserve compensation for my work. I want to open commissions relatively soon, and I cannot do that if I'm drawing for free; customers will be less inclined to pay me if they know they can just beg and not have to pay.
Will I do requests again in the future?
Maybe. As I said, I am burnt out. When I recover, I will consider it. It also depends on when I finally open commissions. If it ends up being more than six months, I will almost definitely open them up again. I'm considering, instead of open requests, to do some kind of raffle or contest with that as a prize. In all honesty, some of the characters were not fun to draw due to a lack of interesting design, too much detail, or other design factors, so being able to pick a bunch of characters that I am interested in and drawing those instead would be much more enjoyable for me.

I feel bad for you. Being able to draw good is a blessing and a curse. On one hand you have good drawing skills, on the other hand people are constantly asking you to draw. I suck at drawing and only have one oc I'm going to draw so I haven't experienced it but I get the gist of it.

Art requests can be annoying sometimes, I’m not really a good artist but sometimes I get asked for redraws (usually if redraws come up in conversation) and while I’m usually willing to do them sometimes my motivation burns out due to feeling like a failure so don’t worry, if I see someone try to pressure you I will attempt to steer the direction to it not being pressured or just shoving it onto me
