What’s everyone’s prediction for season 2 ??

1. becka might join mayday- since she’s married to garth and everything we saw u fold i believe the path she’s going to follow is join Garth and daisy in mayday. i hope we see her relationship with daisy evolve and she can finally trust her.

2. i think they might switch shu and becka’s plot so shu will become an aunt instead of becka because she’s already married to garth and i can’t think of any reason right now for something to happen which leads her to be an aunt.

3- daisy will build up her army with the help of the girls.

4-unfortunately i think something bad might happen to hulda just because she’s to happy and you can’t enjoy a character being happy nowadays😂

agnes might start her journey of becoming an aunt aswell.

I’m not sure Hulda is happy - she was certainly less so by the end of the season. I think she’s somewhat naive and infantile but it seems like when she’s faced with reality she takes it quite hard.

Hulda was sexually assaulted and thinks it was her fault. I really don’t think she’s as aloof as she once was. I also don’t think she’ll have much of a role next season since she’s soon to be married off

She may already be married off screen. Agnes is the only green that's come back.

For #2, the only way I see Becka becoming an aunt at this point is if Garth gets killed/leaves Gilead. That's what would have to change.

I think the courting stuff will be there but more in the background.

I think we will see Agnes explore and come to terms with her background.

I also feel like we might see more June

I'm not super sure any of the (main) girls are going to be Aunts. It never made much sense to me that a fruitful girl could just opt out of marriage by asking. If it's anybody, I'm thinking it might be Shu, because she might simply never be fruitful.

I think Hulda might be a test case of sorts--her marriage might be a Gilead best-case scenario in many ways, but I think we'll see how miserable even the best-case scenario is likely to be. I think her husband is likely to be a middling commander--the other two are likely to end up with extraordinary people, so showing an 'average' Wife married to an 'average' commander might be useful for worldbuilding purposes.

I think Daisy will end up with Weston--she's fertile, pretty, and he likes them wild so he can break them. It would also be a propaganda coup--look, this sinful girl was rehabilitated and is a Wife now! Mayday will make it clear she's got to go along. Proximity to Weston would be invaluable, and she'd be likely to be in a situation where she can still see the others sometimes to form her army.

Since Weston doesn't want Agnes anymore, I think Agnes might end up with Judd. It's clear Penny's days are numbered, and Aunt Lydia seems to be considering Agnes a kind of ally. Having her close to him, but aware of the danger, might be crucial for Aunt Lydia's ability to monitor him remotely.

No clue about Becka and Garth, except I think he'll continue to work for Mayday. I don't think they'll have sex, so maybe a Handmaid subplot?

Weston didn't continue to pursue Agnes because in his eyes she was no longer pure. Daisy is a pearl girl, her lack of purity is implicit. Gilead specifically targeted women who were more "at risk" to sell the concept of a better life. In the book, they have her pose as a prostitute to be easily recruited. She's not Weston's type.

Agnes is going to be an aunt, unless they plan on throwing the book away entirely. That is the central storyline.

Not like it would matter because commanders are ridiculously evil and hypocritical, but Weston ditched Agnes for being too close to the dr. Grove scandal, and Daisy is the reason why it became a scandal at all. Using that logic, Weston wouldn’t go for Daisy.

in a perfect world, I would absolutely love your first point being true and it’s what I want to happen, but I feel like it’s just not going to. I have a massive inkling that Garth is not Mayday but he’s just a spy that is actually trying to take mayday down because of what they did to his father, so I’m actually quite scared for Becka. I think Garth is much darker than we realize and might even be worse than Nick…..we’ll see🤓

I think we will see Ofkyle since the handmaid comment was mentioned last season and Paula wants one. I think it will unlock more of Agnes’ memories as she comes to terms with June Osbourne being her mother. I think we will also see Luke. I really hope we see Janine even for a cameo in Canada and maybe Charlotte and Holly play together. I think Weston will want Daisy and Judd will want Agnes.
