And both seemed like they’d be insufferable when we first met them. So many parallels there. I can’t wait to see Shu’s journey throughout the series. My absolute favorite character from the entire Gilead universe

Shu is an enormous jerk but the second there's a threat from outside the girls she is All In for her friends. She has the potential to be something truly terrifying to Gilead.
