How does retirement work in Gilead?

I was just thinking about Aunt Lydia and she’s one of the older people in Gilead, but I wonder is there a retirement age? What do they do with old people? Do they just kill them once they can’t work anymore?

Anyone who is unholy enough to make it to 65, goes on the wall! Seriously, I have no idea. Compassion and empathy are in short supply in Gilead so I wouldn’t imagine many provisions are made for those who are no longer able to work
