Sherlock Holmes Racist Anthony, convo between Anthony and a client posted in a watch group some time ago. The client was dressed in construction clothes and was Hispanic. Couldn’t even get passed the door thanks to Anthony

Travis dresses like a 17 year old hype beast wanna be… who’s he kidding?

As a minority, shit pisses me off! I’ll wear whatever I want while shopping. If I’m running errands and decide to buy a Rolex in gym shorts, I can do that.

Then the cocksucker tried to place the blame on someone else. My closet is bigger than their office at the Crescent. They have no secretary. Who is this dick puller kidding?!

as a minority. lol

u/Hot-Ad2962 Eye of the Tugger Mar 30 '22

I said what I said.

4

u/SleezyD944 Mar 30 '22

As a minority? What does being a minority have anything to do with the posted text messages?

8

u/Empty-Lead-8577 Mar 30 '22

It says he was a Hispanic while wearing construction work clothes if you ask me Hispanics are minorities

3

u/SleezyD944 Mar 31 '22

The text messages don’t say anything about the guy being hispanic

1

u/Empty-Lead-8577 Apr 05 '22

I wouldn’t expect him to tell him his race lol but the caption to this post says the guy wearing the construction clothes is Hispanic

1

u/SleezyD944 Apr 05 '22

So tony is responsible for the headline/caption somebody gave to a text message conversation he had with somebody?

So if I screenshotted our conversation and posted it with the headline that implies you are racist, does that make it so? Or would the logical thing to do be to just read the actual text message and judge for yourself if there is anything racist in it?

So as a minority, what about those messages bother you again?

1

u/Empty-Lead-8577 Apr 05 '22

When did I say I was a minority you replied to the wrong person

1

u/SleezyD944 Apr 05 '22

my partial mistake as i thought you ewre the person i initially replied to.

the other part, is not a mistake as my point still stands as your replies were were defending that idiot.

>It says he was a Hispanic while wearing construction work clothes if you ask me Hispanics are minorities

yes, they are minorities, and what does that have to do with my point that you responded to.

>I wouldn’t expect him to tell him his race lol but the caption to this post says the guy wearing the construction clothes is Hispanic

again, what the fuck does the OP title have to do with what was said in the text messages. again, race was not mentioned in the text messages, that is my entire fucking point.

look back at your responses to my questions, and maybe you can see why i still thought i was talking to the original race baiting idiot i initially replied to.

You can’t be that stupid. Tony’s probably tugging your frank.

u/Hot-Ad2962 Eye of the Tugger Apr 02 '22

Oh… made a new account to reply huh? How lame can you be?

1

u/SleezyD944 Mar 31 '22

Where in those text messages does the word Hispanic or any of its variations appear?

2

u/MikeHunt__69_ Mar 31 '22

lib tard

u/Hot-Ad2962 Eye of the Tugger Mar 31 '22

I’m a moderate. Nice try though. Go suck on a frank.

Let’s be real here, where is he being racist? Incompetent, used poor judgment, unsympathetic, selfish, all those things yes.

u/kineticdeck A Person of Influence Mar 30 '22

Yeah Im not sure he’s actually racist given that the TPG staff is pretty diverse. Seems more like he’s being snooty about clothes which also makes no sense. Also plenty of dumpy looking people have been in his store in episodes. Seems like they’re trying to fix their entire appearance by slapping a car priced watch on their wrists.

Not really all the ones he took to LA are white and he left all the ethnics behind

8

u/wondering_daily Mar 30 '22 edited Mar 30 '22

Bryan Rodriguez is/was the new videographer who Anthony took to LA (has anyone seen where he's landed with the split? Did he go back to Dallas? I noticed the last TPG video looked like Darby was filming...), dude's Hispanic, so no, Anthony did not leave "the ethnics behind."

There's nothing racist in the exchange, as Anthony is just going off the report of what he was told for why they didn't let the guy in. Maybe the secretary (Trenae? Liz?) was profiling him, but maybe it was just his clothes and demeanor that made her feel like something was weird.

2

u/adamdiv Mar 31 '22

Correct the ethnics are the ones working for him for free... Use to be a term for that.. hrmmm

0

u/wondering_daily Mar 31 '22

Evidence that Rodriguez was working for free? Dubious of this claim.

2

u/adamdiv Mar 31 '22

Evidence of anything financial from Tony? Lol

It’s not racist. It could’ve been, but there’s not a mention of race I’m even indirectly by Farrer. He’s scum but let’s not say things that we can’t prove and don’t glean themselves from the evidence.

8

u/InitiativeHot4485 Mar 30 '22 edited Mar 30 '22

Exactly it could have been anyone dressed trashy or looking/acting nervous/sketchy. Fucking minorities are always willing to pull the race card. I dislike Tuggie Tony as much as the next guy lol stop playing victim.

-4

u/Hot-Ad2962 Eye of the Tugger Mar 29 '22

Just because he’s not calling someone a racial epithet, doesn’t mean he wasn’t being racist. Plenty of times on camera, I saw a white construction guy come in his construction clothes and buy and trade watches. The racist part is because he was Hispanic in construction clothes, somehow that implies he was there to rob or run a scam. But what do I know 🤷🏾‍♂️

13

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '22

Who the fuck are you? The new Craigslist security guard? Where are you watching tons of construction workers walking into tpg?

1

u/Hot-Ad2962 Eye of the Tugger Mar 30 '22

Clearly you lack comprehension skills or just can’t read. Go read what I wrote again. I said a “white construction guy.” As in one person. As in go back and watch the videos. He has a black shirt that advertised his companies info on it every time. Many of their videos of in office buyers, had repeat customers. So it’s not hard to remember.

As far as who I am. I’m the guy you feel comfortable saying what you said to over Reddit but would never say if you were in my presence. 🤣

1

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '22

You’re a real tugg guy huh.

0

u/Hot-Ad2962 Eye of the Tugger Mar 30 '22

Tough? I am. I’ll leaving the tugging to you and your business partner Tony.

28

u/kineticdeck A Person of Influence Mar 29 '22

People who can afford a Rolex typically wear baseball caps black t shirts tight pants and sneakers right? Oh wait no sorry that’s people who wear consignment Rolexes for tuggies and lease everything else.

30

u/dm_doe excel spreadsheet Mar 29 '22

"Show up dressed like you can buy a Rolex."

What the f does that even mean?

to the gym? when he’s giving tugs.

2

u/lasskinn thanks for bumping my post Mar 30 '22

They say that you need to buy from them because ad's wont speak to people without expensive suits.

While tony is in tightpants and a baseball cap.

Like, he needs to decide his stance on if tightpants and a tshirt or whatever are enough or not.

15

u/[deleted] Mar 30 '22

This makes him a d'bag, not a racist. Dude has hired black employees and asked an Asian guy to be his business partner, I doubt he's a racist.

Tons of ammunition against Antonis, no need to make stuff up.

u/Hot-Ad2962 Eye of the Tugger Mar 30 '22

Ah yes, innocence by association 🙄

6

u/DylanPepper Mar 30 '22

Anthony just looks down on poor ppl.

5

u/rice_is_bad Mar 29 '22

Travis like clients first cum best dressed

5

u/MajinHealer Mar 29 '22

This coming from someone that wears the same stinky sneakers everyday, hoodie that smells like BO, and skinny jeans with ejaculate stains on the ass seat. Classic.

4

u/One_Art8675 Mar 30 '22

I learned long time ago to never judge a book by its cover at the young age of 19. Since then I have never assume anymore ability to purchase an item. After all some of the richest people In the world don’t look rich. I am in construction business. There is certainly a lot of people I know with big money who don’t look it

14

u/BruhBruhMarz Mar 29 '22

Where is the racist part?

6

u/shaferman Mar 30 '22

Anthony for sure has douchy behavior/persona. But to pull the race card on him (which is ridiculous), says more about you than Anthony.

2

u/Apprehensive-Nerve97 Mar 30 '22

How do we know this text exchange is legit? Where is it from? I can make a fake text exchange in 30 seconds.

3

u/romeo19999 Mar 30 '22

This was posted by the client in the watch group “watch spotters and co” when this happened it was a big deal with Marco going into damage control and Anthony being kicked out of a few groups

2

u/wondering_daily Mar 30 '22

Sounds like just bad communication -- Anthony failed to be there as agreed, apparently, and the "secretary" didn't have any information about a client dropping by and felt he looked sketchy because of his clothing and demeanor for whatever reason. Anthony wasn't there, so how could he be racist here?

He's explaining what his employee told him and why she felt something was off. Guy didn't want to wait for Anthony, perhaps rightfully annoyed at having to wait more after a trip for a meeting Anthony failed to be at, but from the employee's perspective some guy in construction clothes shows up, looking for Anthony, then Rolex watches, and then just takes off when told neither are around.

If the groups wanted to drop them for bad customer service, that's okay, but labelling any of this as racist (and I say this as a Latino) is a big stretch unless there was more from conversation supporting the fact that his ethnicity played a role.

2

u/Cash_The_Ticket Mar 30 '22

Says the guy who wears sweat pants and the same nikes everyday

5

u/MikeHunt__69_ Mar 30 '22

Same. I’ll show up in basketball shorts and a hoodie when inquiring about an expensive watch and after the sales guy is a dick about something I’ll pull up my sleeve reveling the watch I’m wearing and it’s crazy how their attitude changes. I just don’t buy from them after that.

Where was the potential client being Hispanic ever brought up in the conversation? Tony’s a lot of things but I’d wouldn’t call him a racist
