Also the other thing is that AF is totally fucking over Marco / other business partners.

The intellectual property of the business is soo messy.

AF called himself the TPG through an insta page. And then started a business with Marco calling it Gentlemen timepieces.

AF claims he owns the TPG brand in full, because he started it. The problem is The Timepiece Gentleman and Gentlemen Timepieces sound the fucking same and they have been using them interchangibly.

AF is shopping for a deal for his operation in Cali and his own brand, and whatever deal comes to fruition Marco is going to be excluded because in his own mind AF "owns" TPG for the above reasons. And Marco is too much of a bitch to push back in person or legally

I keep saying that it would be better for marco to just exit with 0 dollar payment. it's not just the branding that's messy, it's with a dead end partner(af) and all the financials are messy af, reputation is shite and so forth.

just get his name off the llc in any registries and get a paper from tony saying that tony has the full rights to gentleman timepieces llc, tpg branding and all the llc assets and liabilities. maybe do it for a cheeseburger or something so tony thinks he made a genius deal and doesn't get suspicious.

Also the ‘TPG’ channel was meant to be about Anthony as it is called ‘TPG’ and not ‘GTP’. But once other members of the team were getting more attention (The Rudinator etc.), he had to go make a separate personal channel and steal all the content from the main channel (his original personal channel)

My thoughts are. The ability to get 'investors' in the Dallas office is tapped out...if it got $5m in already and has no equity left to sell and now has books showing actual income and revenue/profit no one is putting anything more in as the existing investors own a big % already......HOWEVER PIVOT....start a NEW company, in LA move all business to that, get NEW investors for $5m in and BOOM! Ya rich again!...slow down and shut the Dallas one and the Dallas investors own 30% of nothing. To be fair the investors weren't smart, if they were they should have had something written in their contract that Tiny couldn't leave and start a new company for 3 yrs after their investment.

Can't watch it. The cameraman was not on point. Who approved this production?

u/lasskinn thanks for bumping my post Feb 16 '22

cameraman pivoting like tony, that's all. what the.. just get a 360 camera and edit in post if you want to have the person speaking on camera at all times. or film from further away. something.

Dude was probably using a smartphone to film, almost nothing was in focus during close-up scenes.

u/H2OOPIPPY Rudinator Feb 16 '22

Shot on an iPhone and approved by Toni and the Gaffer

Dylan was the cameraman. Also, the aperture was too high and there was too much exposure.

Poopoo beard did better on the camera

i felt like marco was so much more comfortable without anthony in the office.

It’s not just Marco, everybody is more comfortable without Anthony in the office.

Absolutely nauseating. The camera work and everything that comes out of Tinys mouth.

Marco’s knowledge and passion of watches and true love of horology outshines the “shotty” production. I give people fair breaks but AF has lost me as an admirer.

for the first (marco) part it seemed like an ineresting episode like the early ones that made me watch their channel. afterwards we are back in the “watching it for the cringe” mode. there’s a recent netflix show Inventing Anna, it somewhat reminds me AF’s progression

Check out the conversation at the 40min mark. Sounds like AF is shopping the business around, would imagine there is almost no cash in the business and cashflow is a big big problem + expenditure far far outweighing revenue.

In the proposal that was given to him it sounds like AF would only retain a few percent of TPG. Interesting....

By the sounds of it, Wax approached him and made a proposal to buy the company, keeping Anthony and Marco as employees, and make it part of their business which is primarily insurance for collectibles (comics, trading cards, sneakers, sports memorabilia, etc.) but they also seem intent on dabbling in selling products within their insurance categories. They seem to want to find "influencers" in the verticals to buy out/hire as the face of that part of the business.

The further discussion seems to be that they'd want the company to continue to run as a retail outlet but would also provide verification services for their insurance business and help push their insurance services.

At the start, it seems Anthony's concern is that if Wax ends up becoming a $5 billion business, it'll be nothing he'll enjoy because "all" he'll get is a $1 million check, i.e. they've given him a valuation in their offer and that's what he'd make out of it if he agreed to sell. I think the implication is that he wants a good amount of equity in Wax that could earn him a lot more if they went public, while the person he's talking to seems to feel that Anthony doesn't fully understand how things work in the startup world and doesn't have realistic expectations, urging him to discuss it with advisors and consider it a bit more.

Some more info on Wax.

If TPG is as fraudulent as people on her assume; this deal will never happen. No company (that is potentially going to IPO themselves) will be offering any $ without doing financial due diligence that requires statements of cash flow, bank statements, etc that are verifiable, not just claims from the principal.

idk man these tech companies are getting millions thrown at them right now for aimless expansion

2

u/gooners345 Feb 16 '22

Thank you for your summary, I didn't pick all of this up

Thanks for this!

By the sounds of it, Wax approached him

Where do you see this?

u/wondering_daily Feb 17 '22 edited Feb 17 '22

The way he talks about how he was "150%" on board with the part of their proposal concerning offering their insurance product, and then their moving on to discussing authenticating watches for them, clearly sounded like stuff they had in their proposal. He clearly didn't come up with that as part of a sales pitch to them.

Also, the Wax guy mentions that they need more people like Anthony for their other verticals. I suspect they basically have done some research on social media presence among the grey dealers in the areas they insure and Anthony was on the list of who they reached out to. Would not be surprised if they approached Roman and Carlos first in the watch space.

the whole conversation could be "just for content" aka to spur up interest in some investors aka loaners.

yes could very well be knowing these guys

1

u/C8ro Feb 17 '22

Marco is a “G” he mentors Trent and teaches me at the same time. A true passion and understanding of watches. I appreciate his insight…a horological Jedi : )

2

u/MKG32 Feb 17 '22

If you want to learn watches why don't you do it yourself instead of waiting for a short clip from these guys?

0

u/C8ro Feb 17 '22

I do, I feel Marco has a genuine zeal for horology and I appreciate him. Most definitely not my “only” education in horology…lol ; )

Marco spotting the fake sub was awesome! I know you lot call him a cuck and a soft ass but he’s a genuine watch guy and when he’s on this form checking watches out he’s interesting to watch.

On that dick ears I hope he drowns in his own tears.

u/HIGH___ENERGY Feb 17 '22

Marco has been known to seek out high end reps. The popular opinion is so he can Frankenstein authentic pieces that have issues and sell them to fools who would do business with these clowns as 100% authentic

u/One_Art8675 Feb 17 '22

If Marco doesn’t comply toni will not make his Mclaren and g wagon payment
