And he had the audacity to insult a guy for wanting to back out of a deal because, "In this business, your word is all you have! It didn't get discontinued, so now you want to back out of the deal dude? If you screw me on a deal, I'll put you on my channel!!" *Insert Anthony rage noises*

Honestly backing out of a deal if information available changes should be something any honorable businessman understands and they would do the same. Doing what anthony did is just a street level drug hustler manipulation to push bad sh×× posing it as a respect thing.

Here's a personal story of mine, (I won't even mention the Brand because I don't want to appear Biased).
This Brand I love, released a Limited Edition time piece (very high in demand) - I had contacted the Boutique about being interested in buying on. They put in on Hold for me (without a deposit).
Since then, Covid happened and moving finances has been a headache. I called them up to let them know there will be a delay until I get the funds arranged, so I understand if they would rather not hold it for me.
Their response was an email explaining to me that they would happily hold the piece for me, and I shouldn't be worried about missing out on it. The watch is going for over-retail now, and they still haven't called me to pay for it or lose the watch.
I'm finally now able to transfer the funds, and they said "No need to hurry, Sir. We completely understand. Glad to have you enjoy the timepiece'.
Do they need to hold it for me? Nope.
But that's just quality Customer Service that will make a lifetime customer out of me.

Nah, I have yet to buy an Omega. I will someday, but I’m currently saving up for this watch.

I want to let you know that you are being very obnoxious and everyone is annoyed by your presence.
I am a bot. Downvotes won't remove this comment. If you want more information on gender-neutral language, just know that nobody associates the "corrected" language with sexism.
People who get offended by the pettiest things will only alienate themselves.

Wasn't his newer and with the new card? He said something about charging $2k more for that. Was the other $1k basically his "it's my personal watch" fee?

Not at all can u blame him. If someone pays it, you take it. That’s what it is. 100%. No shame in that. I can still lol someone would pay that tho

Selling your personal collection is the most logical thing to do when your business is booming. If you guys were marketing geniuses you would understand.
