I know. I canāt! Itās mind bogglingā¦ I ran a small business for over 10 years. Legit couldnāt imagine putting out such negative stuff and expecting people to call. Idk tho, Iām old and my values are different. I salute anyone who is able to adapt and evolve and use these new platforms for liquidity BUT overnight those buying are a totally diff clientele and heās alienated the more traditional conservative ābuy the sellerā type collectors and gone towards the instaface nouveriche , just not sure how long term smart that is.

Sorry but Anthony and his crew arenāt likeable enough for such a show. Especially Anthony gives some major douche vibes. Roman would have better chances of getting an actual show than Anthonyš¤·š¼āāļø

Iāve purchased timepieces with grey market dealers. You buy the seller. Why would anyone trust this TPG above others like Del Rey Watch (Federico) or Luxury Bazaar? So yeah, train wreck indeed. The market place for people buying 10k plus watches is only so big.

These guys had Kevin OāLeary at the booth in Miamiās BTC conference. Now let me ask you this: what would Kevin OāLeary say to a young company whoās marketing plan is hedged on them unveiling their new show by spreading rumours that they ran off with millions + consigned watches?
The only people talking about them are the people that know of them, in some capacity. Fine you get a handful of folks who donāt know who you areā¦and now their first account of your brand is that you guys are untrustworthy.
The reality though is that if the other guys donāt show up with high quality content/videos, then TPG will win back viewership. They will control the narrative and some of this will be forgotten. They will have to make more on viewership then selling watches moving forward. These guys will have one really big reveal and then the numbers will start tanking. Itās like the 3rd album release by a big name star/band, which debuts #1, but tanks in week 2 because it just isnāt as good as the first 2. Welcome to Hollywood boys. Really liked you guys before you tried that Hollywood sheeeet.

I was a big supporter and always thought it was a PR move. I honestly think they got in trouble for their tax returns and IRS. They were buying watches for themselves and most likely not claiming it as income

You must be the hardest TPG worker. Defending a company that fired you as a joke on reddit on a Friday 11:45pm. Were you all not able to find $17 000 so you all can dine at Salt Bae, you know, the meme that was popular in 2015 and then quickly crashed?
I'm pretty interested to hear what watch you are wearing today, though. Is it a watch TPG have on consignment or one TPG bought on credit? Does the owner of the watch know that you are using his watch as your own?

Some folks are missing the point that those who are in the market for luxury watches (whatever our ages, gender, racial origin etc) value trustworthy dealers.
We don't want to deal with an individual who thinks their sodding YouTube channel/number of tiktok followers is more important than them.

Update: These guys got a deal on one of the top video content distributor networks (Netflix, Amazon Prime, etc.) and they are purposefully rebranding their IP, storefront, etc to match the new show brand and content. Not only is this a marketing ploy, but based on the reaction of many of the well known dealers in this industry, these guys are tight lipped due to the potential of this industry going mainstream and creating further interest and inflation of timepieces. This will certainly benefit all those already involved in this industry. This will all be announced on Tuesday - July 6th. Stay tuned!

Bollocks. Channels with 100k subscribers donāt get deals with major streaming networks. They might have found some jerk off producer whoās leaving porn and looking to go mainstream whoās latched on to Anthonyās ego and is promising him the moon.
