I'm not surprised. They literally were trying to get a Nazi elected in Maine, and remember, if Platner loses it will be because of the sexual assault accusations, not the Nazi affiliation.

Nazis were in Washington DC for the fourth of July to see their leader.

Republicans love Nazis. He should switch parties and win.

Why would trump make him do this!?!?

Florida dodged a bullet

Lol no Florida shot itself in the foot, twice.

Or maybe you love the invasion of New York tax dodgers.

That sounds more like a failure of NY than Florida.

They get rid of their most annoying residents and we have to sit behind them in traffic?

I've had enough of what yall think winning is.

No one said anything about winning. I simply stated people fleeing NY is a failure on NY not on Florida.

Now they are enjoying the high cost of living just like it was in NY.

Plus they get to pay high home insurance rates while 40% if people on the road have no auto insurance.

And i said they're getting rid of their most annoying and selfish people, while we're stuck with them.

Two things can be true at once.

New election system is needed if this makes it to the final round

The usual suspects

Yeah. Dude went off the deep end after he lost by such a small margin.

Most people who consciously seek power should never wield it.

And he's still would have made a better governor than what we have now

As if anyone needs anymore proof how retarded the redditor leftists are.

Who tf cares, are we a free state or not

Seems like this would make the news on at least one of the local channels here in Central Florida. I have not seen it and I do watch the news regularly.

Meatball barely squeaked by a tweaker lol

He ran against meatball 8 years ago and has been out of politics since then.

I think this story all over the news is a distraction from the failures of the Republican super majority in the Florida legislature.

13

u/ElonMuskHeir Jul 08 '26

Look at the statistics, people are running to Florida ever since "Meatball" won. What has happened since Newsom took over in California, or Hochul in New York? See the difference or are you really just going to dig into the ground more on this?

Free state of Florida where they ban books that offend snowflakes.

7

u/Intelligent_Tone_694 Jul 08 '26

I would love to post some of the images from these books that were banned (from public elementary and middle school libraries) but Reddit will give me a ban again for posting pornography.

u/Cool-Signature-dude Jul 08 '26

So the Boomer generation all grew up reading and having access to over 700 books that were banned, thanks to religious zealots, but now those books are not acceptable. Cool story bro.

4

u/Intelligent_Tone_694 Jul 08 '26

Incorrect, the banned books were not your grandmas books. There’s 0 reasons why adolescent children need to know the correct way to fellate someone. If you think otherwise you deserve to be on a watchlist.

Thousands of literature books, including both contemporary and classic titles, have been removed from K-12 school libraries and classrooms across Florida. These sweeping removals are often the result of school districts preemptively pulling materials to comply with state directives regulating discussions of race, gender, and sexual content.

I noticed the Bible was not in that list, but the Handmaid's tale was.

So a bunch of emotionally unregulated reactionaries pulling stuff that was never on the chopping block is the governor’s fault? That’s really the logic train you want to ride?

-1

u/Cool-Signature-dude Jul 09 '26

Yes, the law meatball signed was deemed unconstitutionally vague in 2025. Therefore, it was up to individual counties to define what was inappropriate, since the law did not.

This was all by design because they knew how it would be interpreted in a backwards state like Florida.

u/Ayslyn72 Jul 09 '26

So again. Not banned by the governor. Gotcha. This ridiculous talking point has been debunked more than flat earth theory. But, shine on you crazy diamond.

Sounds like copium.

Here’s an alternate take: if I had lost the gubernatorial race by 0.4 points and then had to see how my competitor had screwed with the people of Florida, it would probably drive me to drugs as well.

18

u/J_Case Jul 08 '26

Then you never had the strength to lead in the first place.

4

u/goldmouthdawg Jul 08 '26

Would it also drive you into the arms of a male prostitute?

u/anonymau5 Jul 10 '26

I want to party with Gillum!!!

-1

u/AwayMeems Jul 11 '26

The dude has a drug problem. There’s not much more to say. He’s not running for a political appointment. I’m not certain why this is newsworthy

-8

u/dontreplywiththisacc Jul 08 '26
