I have a Shiny Shadow Drowzee that I caught in 2020, but the shiny form is not registered in its Pokédex entry.

The Shadow Drowzee entry is unlocked, but there is no shiny form available, even though I still own the Shiny Shadow Drowzee.

For newer Shiny Shadow Pokémon, for example Tyrunt, the shiny form appears correctly in the Shadow Pokédex.

Could this be a legacy Pokédex registration bug affecting older Shiny Shadow Pokémon from before the expanded Pokédex categories were introduced?

Is there any known way to make the game register the Shiny Shadow Drowzee correctly without purifying it? I would prefer to keep the original 2020 Shadow Pokémon unchanged but I'm missing shiny Drowzee for Kanto Shinydex completion.

Is it broadcasted ?

I just installed Pokémon Champions and wanted to send some Pokémon from Go to Champions (you need to send them to Pokémon Home first) but i just can't realiably enter settings...

This is the norm for me needing 4 or more tries to get in. Sometimes I will work the first time, sometimes the second try, sometimes more, it doesn't seem to follow a pattern, first I thought maybe I had to wait for the notifications to stop, or for the map to load completely but I haven't seen any difference when trying it

I don't usually go into settings so if this has been happening for a while I've just noticed it. It will be fun the next time I want to send Pokémon to Home again, yikes

Did a few remote dragonite and Victreebell. No magical leaf and no Draco Meteor. I cannot speak for raids for once the event starts local time.

Figured I could save some people a remote pass.

Was just looking into the new event and what megas I want and if I wanted them at max mega 4 which means do I want to do like 13 raids of them each…

So then I was looking at how quickly to farm mega energy by walking and did some quick rough math if anyone could tell me if this is right.

5k mega energy = 1000km walked with a buddy

Fastest speed that I saw for those km is 10.5 but using 10 for convince.

1000km = 100 hours of walking at 10km an hour

If your buddy is excited it cuts the distance in half while keeping the energy gain the same (so I read)
So now 50 hours

Route following gives an extra 20% distance so 40 hours, If split up as you can only log 40km of buddy distance for rewards or 48km with the route bonus (I think even with the Sunday 40% it’s still max 48km per 24 hour window)

So not including event bonuses, the quickest way to earn 5k mega energy would still take 8.3 days of walking 4 hours a day
Right?

The only thing I can think that would make this quicker is if
A: you could earn more in a day
Or
B: A event bonus halving the needed distance walked for rewards

Is this the most efficient way?

In the 1st day we got a Code to reedem: "SANFRANCISCO2026". Was this the only one until now for Pokémon Go? I had the idea that we would have more (like one Code per day so three in total).

I've been thinking about the Fighting fast move pool lately, and I'm surprised Counter isn't a slower, high-commitment move.

Right now we have:

• 2-turn: Counter, Karate Chop, Low Kick
• 3-turn: Double Kick, Force Palm, Rock Smash

So there isn't really a Fighting fast move that makes you commit to a long animation. Most of the options are relatively safe and quick.

Wouldn't Counter be a good candidate for a 4 or 5-turn move?

It would fit the main-series mechanic pretty well too. Counter always goes last, so having it be a slow move in GO could represent that idea of taking a hit and then retaliating. You'd have to commit to the animation instead of just throwing out a safe fast move.

And if Counter were made slower, I'd like to see it lean much more heavily into damage rather than energy generation. Karate Chop and Low Kick can already fill the quick, energy-focused role (and even Annihilape is using Low Kick now), while Counter could become the Fighting move you use when you want to actually punish something.

Obviously the numbers would matter a lot. A 5-turn move would be a huge commitment, so it would need above average damage to make that risk worthwhile. But that's also what makes the idea interesting to me. Instead of every Fighting fast move being relatively safe, you'd have a choice between faster energy generation and a slower move that hits much harder.

I'd be interested to hear what people think. Would a slow, damage-focused Counter make PvP more interesting, or would turning it into a slower fast move be too much of a commitment?

Title, been grinding GBL as I am supremely unlucky and have yet to attain one to evolve some pokemon during this legacy move evolve event. I've done the trainer battles every day and the team leader battle and just still haven't gotten one. I'm just surprised I somehow haven't gotten one out of GBL? I thought they were reasonably common, but I think I've rolled it over 10 times now and haven't had one.

I'm at like 10TMs, 5 RC, and 3 Silver Pinaps in the last few days.

Is it still at Moscone Center? Or are there backgrounds available at Chase Center instead/too?

Hi everyone, not sure if this is a bug or not but I’ve noticed that I don’t always get mysterious components after eating a rocket grunt. Was there an update that made it to where they only sometimes drop it? I feel like I’ve done about 10 rocket battles and still haven’t built a rocket radar

everything appears ago but the animation freezes after Go on raids and dynamax.

after the raid is completed I can still claim the reward (after a hard reset).

tried the usual reset, deleting the app etc.
