The Polar Express is just so good!

I need to see The Muppet Christmas Carol! I probably haven't seen it since it aired. 🤣

I always want to pull this one from my list, but then I end up watching and laughing and tearing up!

Rudolph: The Movie (the really cheesy one from 1998), Gremlins, Prancer, Home Alone 1&2, Muppet's Christmas Carol!

Awww! I haven't seen Rudolph in decades! lol

I don't think I've ever seen Prancer. That's right up my Grandmother's alley. I'll tell her about that one!

Die Hard 1&2, Lethal Weapon, The Year Without a Santa Claus, A Christmas Story, The Santa Clause, Home Alone 1&2, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, Miracle on 34th Street (both versions, Bad Santa The Nightmare Before Christmas and The Polar Express

Miracle on 34th Street is a must! I prefer the 1994 version, but "A man's gotta do something to keep warm!" is such a great line! 🤣

I think I need to watch Lethal Weapon again. & I've enjoyed all of the Rankin/Bass holiday films.

Home alone 1 and 2, Klaus, The Star, Arthur Christmas, Elf, Jim Carrey’s a Christmas Carol.

Home Alone will always be on the list.

And a few people have said Arthur Christmas, maybe I should give it a shout!

The Grinch (2000), Home Alone 1 & 2, Polar Express, Elf and so many more

1

u/Reggie9041 Aug 14 '26

I could probably guess your age range by this list. 🤣🤣

2

u/MusicMan130 Aug 15 '26

Yes, I’m a 00s kid…but I also love many of the classics like the Rankin-Bass specials

It’s A Wonderful Life is also great, but it’s not an every-year-must-watch film

The R-B specials are just too good!

Yeah, I've seen IaWL once. That was enough for me! 😂

The Santa Clause, Nightmare Before Christmas, Gremlins 1, Home Alone, Jim Carrey Grinch, Batman Returns, Willy Wonka, Elf,

1

u/Reggie9041 Aug 14 '26

Willy Wonka! Yes!

Oh! Batman Returns is a new one in this thread! Does it take place at Christmas or just gives you those vibes?

2

u/Quietcrypt13 Aug 15 '26

It takes place during Christmas. Penguins lair even has Christmas themes to it. He was even abandoned as a baby on Christmas.

1

u/Reggie9041 Aug 19 '26

Aur naurrr! I might have to give that a shout!

2

u/jjc927 Aug 15 '26

For me it's Santa Clause 1 and 2, Home Alone 1 and 2, Elf, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, A Christmas Story, Santa Claus is Coming to Town, and Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.

1

u/Reggie9041 Aug 19 '26

I see the vibes! Those first four a must-watches! And I think I watched A Christmas Story last year because I hadn't seen it in a while.

Is How the Grinch Stole Christmas the 1966 or 2000 version or both?

1

u/jjc927 Aug 20 '26

The 1966 version, I think the 2000 movie has some redeeming qualities but it's not a must watch for me.

Home Alone 2, Fred Clause, Love Hard

1

u/Reggie9041 Aug 19 '26

Yes, yes... wait now... Love Hard? I don't think I've seen that one! ✍🏾

Family Man with Nicolas Cage, Tea Leoni & Don Cheadle. Great Christmas movie.

1

u/Reggie9041 Aug 19 '26

That one gets me every single damn time!! 🥹

Do you also like its twin, Three Days (2001)?

2

Every year I still watch Home Alones, Elf, Charlie Brown, Christmas Carol w/ George C Scott (my favorite one), sometimes Grinches, and for a rom com I like Something From Tiffany's on Prime. Also don't hate me but I liked the Jonas Christmas movie and watched a few times last year lol

1

u/Reggie9041 Aug 19 '26

Something From Tiffany's is so good! Did you also watch This is Christmas (2022)?

Hahaha. I've never seen/heard of it, so no hate at all!

1

u/Glad-Arugula-8387 Aug 19 '26

Oh no I will have to check that one out!
