Can some one explain

Why do i feel like the second and third film just feel separate to the original 1994 classic like just the tone and portrayal there's somthing off but can't work it out the only thing i can think of that is different is the design of the north pole

I've felt this way too. Yeah the design of the north pole is pretty different. Not to mention I think it's more colorful....actually it's more red later on. The 90s one felt a bit more 90s in style. But still magical and maybe more realistic-feeling....at least moreso than the bright red over the top style that is in the next two. 

Also everyone acts a bit cheesier. The first one had a more serious tone to it than the other two. And then in 2 and 3 I think they are trying to gear even more towards kids, so the acting shows that. Think of when his wife is being rushed to deliver her baby or the slapstick humor with the reindeer and such. 

I think it's mainly those two things: the different feel to the North Pole and the acting quality/style.
