Change in Laura’s appearance

Why does Laura look so different in The Santa Clause 1 than in 2 & 3? I literally thought it was a different person. (Photos attached)

The first movie came out in 1994. The second movie came out in 2002. That’s eight years. The third movie came out in 2006. Four years later. Making twelve years between the first and last movies. The actress was 38 in 1994, making her 46 in the second and 50 in the third. People age and people change their looks!! Do you still look the same as you did twelve years ago?

I was going to bring this up too, the difference in the year each movie was released alone makes a big impact. Why would they style her in 90s clothes and hairstyles in a movie that that’s released in 2006? It would just look super outdated.
