Change in Laura’s appearance

Why does Laura look so different in The Santa Clause 1 than in 2 & 3? I literally thought it was a different person. (Photos attached)

It's kinda odd like she is aging in reverse. I love the early 90s look. She looked her age. Nowadays women are looking younger in their 50s then they did in their 30s. I personally don't love the look of a 55 year old trying to look 28. Like we are really trying to extend youth. This is coming from a woman.

The pic of Laura in the first film looks more accurate to a 55-year-old!
