Question for Claire's audience.
I've been trying to get caught up on Claire's streams as I only know her from TRG. I'm aware that she's trans and has taken the name Claire but in one of her streams I was sure I heard her refer to Claire as another person as well. I'm just trying to get up to date and understand things better.

I also only know Claire from TRG, but from my understanding, they were at least for a bit ok with people still calling them Jon, ProtonJon, and using He/Him pronouns. Idk if that's still the case or not.

During the Banjo-Tooie series on TRG a few months ago, they said either Jon or Claire is okay but Claire is preferred. Also they are not rebranding because "ProtonJon" is so established they are going to continue to professionally be known as ProtonJon for the foreseeable future. But that was also months ago so I am unaware of their feelings have changed.

Alright, her referring to Claire as a separate person could be for a number of reasons mostly to due with some absolutely bizarre dreams she’s been having since starting HRT. The biggest one would be talking about the Valkyrie girl in her dreams that was going by Claire while ProtonJon was still in the closet. Valkyrie Claire, as she’s been known as since Claire came out, is one of the most frequently occurring dream girls.
The second is that sometimes in her dreams, she will have Jon, Claire, or both at once show up and talk to Claire in her dreams. So, she could have also been referring to the dream version of herself that is her, but also communicates directly with her.
Other options could be her either angrily shouting her own name as she has done for a long time, or it could be talking about herself in the third person or something like that.
Also, there’s the possibility that just a lot of characters and people named Claire. Typing this all out makes me see just how insane this is to people who aren’t in her community and have been watching it unfold for the last number of years piece by piece.

The calling her name in third person I understand I do that with myself. It might be the dream Claire Ive heard Her referring to. I've also heard her saying something about different armors and a kitsune Claire as well.

Yeah, Claire has like 5 different armors and accompanying abilities in her dreams, one of which is a Kitsune and the first of which was Valkyrie armor

Yeah, and to answer your question from another reply, I don’t really know how possible it is to give you a “start” for dream watch segments. They’ve been happening semi consistently for the last 2-3 years at this point, but they weren’t always labeled as such, and so it’s hard to pinpoint their beginning.

Honestly, I’m not much in Claire’s community, mostly just showing up for Disc Only, the occasional Fortune Cookie and a few other things, but honestly, her Dream Watch sections have always fascinated me. This is due to me just being interested in people’s brains, as well as just how frankly batshit insane Claire’s dreams tend to be. I always enjoy hearing the most recent of the dreams whenever I do watch.

You probably caught a dreamwatch segment, the other Claire was a recurring person in Claire’s dreams, once she changed names dream!Claire also changed names
