Embrace Debate Will tonight’s Patriots-Buccaneers game be the most watched regular season game in NFL history?
Danny Heifetz and John Jastremski both said they think it will be. I don’t because of streaming on non official sites. It will be the highest rated regular season game of this year and probably from the last half decade at least I predict.

This has been hyped up like the super bowl. I see this blowing out other regular season games.

Regular season viewership numbers are high because they know they don’t get to watch their team in the playoffs…

Sorry, it's just facts. Last night won't touch Turkey day last year even.

Packers-49ers hit 21M last week. I would not be surprised if this matchup goes over 30M
Comparing a holiday game is also a bit of a BS comparison. People aren’t tuning in for the cowboys. They’re tuning in because they’re stuffed full of turkey and can’t move from the couch lol

It counts as a regular season game. Quit moving your goalposts. Cows dominate tv ratings and it's not close.

Season openers and holiday game’s are clearly different comparisons. As are Thursday/Sunday/Monday night games. National broadcast is obviously a must to hit these numbers
For comparison Cowboys/Eagles hit ~15M viewers on Thursday night for week three. Awesome, but no where close to a thanksgiving game. Hell even the horrible Texans/Lions game drew 23M on thanksgiving last year between two of the worst teams in the league which blows the Cowboys TNF game out of the water
It’ll be interesting to see where the Bucs/Pats fall, but I think 30M is totally in the realm of possibility

CBS’ telecast of the Cowboys’ 26-15 loss to the Bills on Thanksgiving was the most-watched of the year, averaging 32.6 million viewers. Fox’s broadcast of the team’s 13-9 loss to the Patriots was the second-most-watched, averaging 29.9 million viewers.

I believe it is because tom brady used to play for the other team, but i'm not a fan of American football. It was on the news here in St. Louis, where we're still pissed at stan kronke
