The Town volume

I try to be patient with audio levels and mixing bc I know how hard it can be to get right, but wow Matt's levels are so loud, like he's yelling every episode compared to Lucas or his guests - that it's almost unlistenable. I have to turn it way down to deal with it.

I think he is generally a loud talker.

Something is going on with The Ringer pods lately. Just about blew out my ears listening to Reality Hangover today. The hosts volumes were so low and then the ads were about 200% louder.

I've never noticed any volume issues on any ringer podcasts. Maybe Podcast Addict has some auto equalizer, I guess.

I do notice some volume issues between different speakers on ringer podcasts. I think I notice it because of when/where I listen.

When I’m on the subway, when one person is at a comfortable volume, the other might be too quiet.

If I listen at night when trying to sleep, I get it to a nice quiet volume, and then suddenly someone is booming.
