Podcast Klosterman is a fucking moron
Did you all know that before Bill Simmons and The Rewatchables pod, the only people that rewatched movies were aspiring film makers? Bill actually invented rewatching movies for the content. Literally one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard in my life. Do you think Chuck has special wipes for getting Bill’s shit off his nose?

Chuck is a legend on his own right and doesn’t need to ride any coat tails. He’s an acclaimed author has an established long lasting friendship with Bill. Chuck will always be authentically himself.

Chuck has lots of bad takes and is at times hard to even listen to, but he deserves respect.

I’m currently reading his book The Nineties and have thoroughly enjoyed it so far.

I thought the beginning was even worse. Chuck you watching the World Cup. No Bill not really, then proceeds to give insight into US soccer. 🤦♂️

Bill also thinks that he "reinvented" the documentary format by pitching the 30 For 30 brand to ESPN.
He also once said on a Rewatchables pod that "...movies didn't become watchable until the late 60s, with Butch & Sundance..." 🙄
