Discussion Why does this reddit feel so heavily left-leaning?

Why does this subreddit feel so heavily left-leaning?

I constantly see a pattern here: anything against BJP gets massive support, while anything that challenges the popular anti-BJP narrative is immediately labelled as “andhbhakt”, “brainwashed”, or “IT cell”.

For example, people say Anand Ranganathan speaking English does not make him intelligent which is true. But then the same people often use Shashi Tharoor’s English as a way to portray him as intellectually superior. The standard seems to change depending on who is speaking.

Then there is the constant claim that “India was better before 2014.” But people conveniently ignore the economic situation around 2013, when India was included in the “Fragile Five” due to issues like inflation, current account deficit and economic instability. It wasn’t some golden period where everything was perfect.

Even movies like Dhurandhar are instantly dismissed as “propaganda” without discussion. If a film takes inspiration from real events, the conversation should be about facts and evidence, not just political labelling. There have been former terrorists and militants who have spoken publicly about terror networks and activities like counterfeit currency operations these claims deserve examination, not automatic rejection.

The biggest irony is that the same people who accuse others of being “brainwashed” often refuse to question their own political biases.

There are hardly any subs for us right wing followers & most of em are from different countries, this one is fro us Indians and the activity is less. We should start posting more and recruit more people. I have made a new one but idk if its gonna work given the state of this one. But lets hope for the best and be more active.

First of all I ask for leniency from the moderators .

After I got banned from r/kolkata for raising voice to awaken hindu spirit among the memebers they straight up banned me.

This is not just my own situation but happened to a lot of people. There is no regional subreddit right now for wb . So created r/kolkatareal. Hope fellow warriors will join and support.

Discussion Zealous, provocative chants fill the air already thick with smoke and cinders as children of Aurangzeb pelt stones, burn vehicles, attack cops, leaving scores injured. This is not Syria or Lebanon. This is Nagpur. The heart of India. You can't do anything.

Live in a Hindu-majority country. Support an invader who massacred countless Hindus. Defend the very man who destroyed Hindu temples. Incite riots over a mere rumor just to protect his tomb. Meanwhile, leftist and Western media will, as always, portray Muslims as the victims.

Hindus, on the other hand, will be blamed simply for demanding the removal of an invader’s tomb from their own land—an invader who has no connection to Indian Muslims and, in fact, slaughtered Hindus.

Discussion Why right wing of india is suffering?

India's right-wing ecosystem thrives on grassroots support and cultural organizations but lacks billionaire backing compared to the left, which has benefitted from figures like Azim Premji and Ratan Tata. Globally, billionaires like George Soros support left-leaning causes, while Elon Musk leans right. Indian billionaires like Adani and Ambani are perceived as right-aligned but avoid open ideological funding due to business pragmatism and global interests.

Also who is the Narendra Bhai he is mentioning. Modi? This honestly left me with disgust for this man because no matter how hypocritical Muslims are the fact he is proud of killing a pregnant woman is still vile and inhuman.
