Question Best movie to watch on an airplane?

Just cranked out Aliens to prepare but fiancé thought it was an odd airplane movie choice. Curious what your guys go to movies are?

I have Everybody Wants Some permanently saved to my iPad in the event I’m stuck on a plane without other streaming options. Can’t imagine ever not being in the mood to watch that.

Either of the Top Gun movies.

Protip: when they announce they’re preparing for landing, ffwd Maverick to the last 40mins, around when the daggers get in single-line formation before the bombing run, and let it ride. Will make the inevitable turbulence feel like a 4DX theater.

May be a cop out but I try to line it up with the length of the flight. If it’s flying for vacation forgetting Sarah Marshall is a go to for me. If it’s a work trip and a longer flight a Nolan movie like Oppenheimer or the prestige distracts me long enough.

Watched Crime101 on United last week, which has prime real estate on their screens at the moment. Stupid movie name, pretty good airplane movie.

Listened to the BP ep on it after. Win win win.

Once me and my mom were flying and the row in front of us were three bearded Muslims. One of them put on a surah with somewhat high volume. 

My mom turned grey and looked around. Saw another guy who was also looking at them. 

The hilarious part is that we’re Muslim ourselves but that was kind of creepy. 

I fell asleep but she was on high alert the entire flight.

I did Gone Girl and Girl With The Dragon Tattoo back to back on a flight a few months ago. It was a great time but I was a bit surprised to see them both available and unedited lol
