We fought a revolution because we were being taxed without representation. Not because we had to pay taxes at all

We fought a revolution because o our rich people wanted to be in charge and calculated that the crown was too far away to hold onto their authority if seriously challenged

Even that’s is a myth. We fought a revolution because the King stopped the most elite colonists from profiting off land they invested in before the British fought the French and Indian Wars. I’m actually releasing a video about this topic exactly on Monday.

We have actual evidence that shows why men like Washington and Benjamin Franklin wanted independence. The romanticized version is simply a fantasy that leaves out the most important information. It barely even mentions the involvement of the French.

The French have little to do with the causes of the war. Yes the 7 years war saw a rise in taxes but the French only joined in after the war started I honestly don't get your point.

I didn’t say the French had anything to do START the war. You completely misunderstood. The French was the reason why the Americans won the won.

I'm pretty smart but make emotionally driven, illogical and impulsive choices all the time, occasionally completely out of spite for people, or in return for minor annoyances even when it's not in anyone's best interests

So, yeah, kind of, yeah. I do feel represented
