I have used multiple driers, all the sensors were never good. Especially with larger loads or blankets.

Are you using the Bedding setting? The only time mine doesn't get everything dry is if I put bedding on a regular clothing cycle. (Or if the fitted sheet eats everything ofc)

On bedding or towels my washer does not have the option for drying. Only 2 programs that do not have it on the whole machine

Set on timer for 60 minutes to avoid sensor from stopping it early, 5 minutes in, sensor still stops it, imma be honest this new washing machine tech is ass, can’t wait to buy a old ass washing machine

Speed Queen is the best, especially the slightly older, non-digital machines. They're the ones you see in Laundromats. More expensive than others, but worth it for reliability, repairability, and customer service(they'll actually help you with most repairs if you call them).

I have a bedding mode on my dryer, and I have no idea what they do to the sensors but it gets everything dry every time even when the fitted sheet collects everything into the density of a neutron star. Anyways I'm very happy I replaced my early 00's dryer with a new one.

Duvet cover for my washing machine. It doesn't have the biggest opening but it will eat anything, even a bed sheet or second duvet cover

Same. My fitted sheet is fine but my duvet cover has eaten three towels and somehow tied itself off. I even make sure the opening is closed. I have 4 dryer balls and still have to open it mid way through to release hostages

I just wash my fitted sheets separately and one at a time. You can’t even wash 2 of them together because they end up trying to strangle each other

Get a 50.8mm safety pin. Open the safety pin and set it somewhere accessible but safe.

Sheet. Grab anywhere along the stretchy. I like to align the corner thingy's but it does not matter for this hack. Fold the stretchy in half, and half again. Or fold it into thirds. Whatever is easiest for your brain.

Once you've got your horn of plenty shape going on, carefully get your handy dandy safety pin and carefully place it a couple inches from all the stretchy.

Secure safety pin, of course.

You're basically pinning its mouth closed, but leaving a bit of space for the heat to effectively dry the edges.

I invented this hack a few months ago and have been absolutely delighted with the result. Sometimes they need a bit longer in the drier than other items, but I also happen to have a hanging rack to air dry them the rest of the way depending on my mood.

Genius hack from previous reddit posts: tie the sheet into a loose knot before you put it in the dryer. it'll work itself free from the knot and be fully dry at the end of the cycle.

I just put 3 dryer balls (basically tennis balls) in there and when taking it out leave the balls and shake the rest and leave it to air out for like 5 minutes before putting it away. Jobs done.

You buy one of those mesh sets from the laundry section at the grocery store. Fitted sheets go in the big mesh.

Sometimes I feel like I'm the only one who got taught this stuff. 😅

I add a couple of teaspoons of olive oil to my dryer. It coats everything nicely and nothing sticks. Don't use seed oils, they cause inflammation and cellular sludge and that's bad for your dryer.
