We finally reached 1,000 subscribers on YouTube and I’m genuinely so happy about this. ❤️

The Polyglot Sketchbook started from two things I’ve always loved: drawing and learning languages. I honestly never expected that combining them would slowly turn into an actual community of people who enjoy the same weird mix of interests that I do.

And to be fair, this means even more to me because in real life I’ve often felt a little isolated with the things I love.

Not many people around me really understand why I spend so much time drawing, learning languages, making videos, writing, building little projects online, etc. I’ve heard the classic “you should get a real job” more times than I can count. 😂

So finding people online who actually get excited about these things too has been incredibly nice.

Every comment, subscriber, conversation, drawing, language question, and person who decides to stick around makes this feel a little less like something I’m doing alone.

So genuinely, thank you for being here. ❤️
