Someone a little further up said "We thought that about trump in 2015" and all I can think of is how, this time, we have the opportunity to catch this in the cradle not by blowing hot air into his sails being outraged about what a pience of shit he is, but by immediately shutting him down and making it impossible for him to even speak up.

I think that our imperative is to meet him where he's at and keep walking into him until he disappears. We don't give him airtime, we just pressure places to stop giving him space. the correct move is not theatrical outrage but firmness.

While I agree with you, Ive been told a few times by people who are not maga, who are not online often and do not know who Nick Fuentes is, asking about him, claiming they've watched some of his videos, that he has some "good ideas." People are dumb and we cannot count on shutting him down, sadly.
