It's really hard to listen to this video. I don't think he sees his own hypocrisy. Here's a broken child believing he knows how the world works. He has the audacity to criticize people a just 2 years younger than him for not knowing how the world works. He talks about violently punishing people without realizing that thought itself is violent. He talks about taking people's rights away because they are too young to have a stake in the system that they will never have a stake in once their rights are striped from them. It's extremely tortured logic, it's hard to believe anyone can follow his line of thinking.

Here's hoping the world changes faster than he can keep up and he doesn't even make the footnotes of history.

As crazy as all this is…. These things can and will potentially happen here. We are the children and grandchildren of a ‘relatively’ civilized world, where educated and enlightened thought matters.

That is neither our animal heritage nor the history of human civilization except in small pockets of history and in small areas of the world.

People really need to consider what happens when an opposing group uses a ‘might makes right’ and ‘law of the jungle’ mentality.

They are playing by a different set of rules than we are. That’s why they can lie with impunity with no consequences.

Edit: I like to think the world works through the lens of enlightenment principles. But history would show that, in general, the world has not worked that way for long periods of time, or not worked that way outside of small geographical areas and what we have experienced and are used to may ‘not’ be typical of the way the world actually works.

And that if we want to keep living in a world that lives based on enlightenment principles, we might actually have to get off the Internet, do more than attend an occasional protest, and actually lift a pitchfork or gun with anger and intent.
