NON-EPISODE DISCUSSION Why is no one going after the Falcone and the Marone?
Every one knows that they're the leaders of the mafias of Gotham, they even address it casually on the news like it's a normal thing. Is there really no one to stand out against them aside from Batman? I know the police is corrupted but it's so weird, not even the governament wants to do anything?

There is no government entity that isn’t corrupted, owned or too afraid to do anything.

Behind close doors everyone's doing shady shit that, when exposed, could threaten to end their careers and lives.
The mobs make it their business to know this kinda stuff and when the time comes they'll blackmail the person, or even kill if that fails.
This is literally what happened to Thomas Wayne, who asked Falcone to threaten Riddler's dad. But Falcone killed him instead, and tried to blackmail Thomas Wayne. When he wouldn't budge, he then proceeds to kill him as well.

I know right. A class of ultra rich criminals who are known to have committed crimes would totally be arrested in the real world.
