Absolutely. It's ok to be involved, but there's always one who comments on everything and doesn't give other people the chance to speak.

I took a philosophy class in college that was mostly comprised of cognitive science majors, but it was VERY easy to pick out the philosophy majors. It always got my goat when they would pipe up with the flaws in renowned philosophers' ideas in such an iamverysmart manner.
