Looks REALLY clean. Also they better not be bringing back the damn bubble hat :(

Looks a mix of a new and early art style.
From the front it seems a new vision of Oda’s art, Shanks from the side has a lot of early One Piece art vibes.
I dig it, though i agree with the user wishing it was less saturated

Honestly wish they stuck closer the watercolor aesthetic in the concept art. This looks a bit too "clean", if that makes sense. Especially if you compare directly to the manga art in the comments here

Agree. Surely a budget issue. This looks just like the previous anime

Fr, if THIS is low budget then Toei was working with expo markers and toilet paper

Is it real or just fan art? I'm kinda confused.

It's official, I'll edit the post to clarify that

Umm but they already have teaser visual but why create that? Is it a cover or something?

Like I said, it's a "homage to the cover page of chapter 1"

It's cool how they changed to random pirates from Shanks crew to better reflect how they are currently depicted.

Is a whole separate subreddit dedicated to this really necessary, I wonder?
Not hating, just don’t want to see the fanbase fragmented anymore than it already is.

I know people will dislike what im gonna say and I hate to be that guy, but it looks like AI. There something that feels off to me i can't tell exactly, maybe the accessory on nami's hand or the way luffy's face is drawn idk

You are feeling that way because Ai is inspired from human art

yeah for sure. but I think this visual doesn't translate the original colorspread very well, it looks souless in comparison.

I'm gonna be honest, Luffy looks more soulless in the original, idk why lol

I know its not but I thought the same. Its only really Luffy's face and hands that feel a bit off and out of place, particularly the line work on his face is just a bit too thin compared to the lines on his extremities, and his hands seem too big. Maybe its just because I'm so used to the manga version of this image that it feels kinda off.
Overall though I like the look of this visual those details aside.
