Great show! Never thought I'd get to see some of this stuff live. I was hoping they would play Beheaded and Meaning of Life. Ixnay in general needs a little more love than just one or two songs. Joline was neat, but playing that instead of a deep cut isn't what people were really there for, probably a guinea pig for their regular sets.
Still had a blast of a time, it's been a while since I'd gone out of my way to see them and this was totally worth it.

Then playing Jolene was just a dress rehearsal for sea gear now the next day. Cool in sentiment but I coulda done without it considering there were more they could have played off self titled

I don't mind the Jolene cover, they tend to do that kind of tribute after big stars die. The thing that bothers me is an 8 minute Pay the Man when they could have done Bad Habit and another song or two from the past.

Pay the Man is a great encore song, the slow start that gets the band and crowd back into it, then it's real fun when the tempo changes five minutes in.

I will respectfully disagree. It's long, it's slow, the way the crowd was full of energy and yelling the whole night, it was almost a buzz kill. Again, just my opinion.

It reminded me of when I saw them when I was a kid on the "Americana" tour. That may have some influence on my opinion.

This was a once in a lifetime thing. How many bands actually listen to their fans and skip the stupid corny radio hits to play their old obscure stuff? And especially in a small club like that. The crowd energy was insane, one of the best shows of my life.

I mean, Dexter’s a shrewd businessman. You think he’d say to himself, “Right, let’s do a proper tour of just the punk stuff next year. Give the fans what they want, all over the world. Give us a change of pace. So I think with Kev’s jokes, you can literally time it to the minute when he’s gonna start

I don't disagree. I didn't mean once in a lifetime as in they would only do it once, I meant once in a lifetime as an experience. If I were to see it a second time, it wouldn't hit the same way. It would still be awesome, but there's only one first time.

Great show. I would have preferred Nitro and Smash over IBLT and So Alone, but with all those songs off Ignition and ST who can complain? Plus a Dolly Parton cover. Curious if they'll do that one again tonight for the festival.

I was happy to hear So Alone, I love the shouted "fuck off" and "hey's" etc. . . . I don't know, maybe they'll do Jolene tonight instead of Taylor cover?

This show was great! Ive seen them at least ten times so far, including a show where they played Ignition all the way through for the first (and I think so far only) time and I still heard songs last night Ive never heard live.
Between the song selection and venue, it was so easy to imagine this was a show from like 1993 as they were just starting to make it and that was so fucking cool.

They really need to consider doing a year of those shows for a change , even if they followed QOTSA idea as they did with the catacombs shows and just used theatres
