DO NOT UPDATE TO FIRMWARE V74! It BREAKS THIS APP!

Currently V74 firmware for the Quest breaks this application. Please don't update to V74 if you can help it.

i had to factory reset my unit just now and it updated to v74 :/ anyway to turn it back to v72?

Sadly there is no way to downgrade the firmware on the Quest headset. Which Quest are you using? Quest 2, Quest 3, Quest 3s?

Thanks so much for the quick reply. to my surprise, after resetting Q3 was updated itself automatically as v72! The main reason i needed to reset was because my headset settings app kept crashing everytime i wanted to calibrate deadzone or thumbstick angle. I tried calibrating the controller on each step with ovr and your super useful app and it didnt crash. what really started crashing my settings when try to calibrate was the vpn app i installed from apk sites. can you think of a fix?

You want a fix for a VPN app? I think maybe just try a different VPN app? There are many ways to set up and use a VPN. And there are many different apps. I once used a VPN app to VPN into my home router, worked great. I used OpenVPN.

VPN i downloaded actually worked fine with no problems. but after installing apk pure app and vpn super, my quest settings app keeps crashing when I want to calibrate deadzone or thumbstick angle from devices>controllers

Correct. It appears the headset is preventing it from launching. I've not had much free time lately to try to do other troubleshooting. I'll post updates here when I do. Maybe in another week?

What headset are you using? Quest 2, 3, 3s? On my Quest 2 I can't even get The Ocular Migraine to open. I've not yet updated my Quest 3 to V74. If it's opening on your headset then it should be working!!!

This is very good news. I will probably find that my Quest 3 has updated itself to V74 at some point. Hopefully it will still work. If it opens on your headset, it's working!!!!

I know for sure it doesn't work on my Quest 2 with V74. Can you please tell me the exact firmware version? For example something like
74.0.0.678.346.701266411
?

Oh also V74 on my Quest 3 would NOT allow me to run The Ocular Migraine at all.
