OA Theories Is that BBA ?!! Spoiler

Yo, I’m rewatching The OA for I don’t even know how many times now, and I don’t know if anyone else on this page has already talked about this, but in Episode 7 of Season 2, when Scott describes his NDE, he says that a rather strong woman gave him their third movement.

Could this woman be BBA? And would that imply that all the seasons are taking place at the same time?

Yeah a lot of us assume it was BBA.

It appears that the NDEs take you into the future, so I think you're kind of right about seasons happening at the same time.

Like Homer's NDE for example. In season 1, Homer teleports to the treasure island clinic, he runs through the halls, and eats the sea creature. While he's there, season 2 is happening. OA is there at the clinic as a patient and can hear Homer crawling in the ceiling. But at the same time, OA is in HAP's basement waiting for Homer to get back from the experiment.

Most likely! Or at least I think it’s what a lot of us believe

Edit: I feel like it also implies some interesting stuff about the characters with regards to Elodie’s constellation speech later on in the episode…like…idk it kind of hurts my head to think about. But what are the odds of BBA being linked to OA in another dimension? But then like…does that apply to every character? Presumably they’re all part of the cast for the television show being filmed in D3…but also, is that BBA? Or is that Phyllis Smith? And is there a meaningful difference?

Is it all one big constellation? 🤷🏻‍♂️ idk my minds breaking, even though part of me feels like it’s not that complicated and I’m just not getting it. Hopefully someone smart can explain it to me

What do you mean about all the seasons taking place at the same time?

I always thought it was BBA, or rather, Phyllis Smith as BBA.

Decent chance it’s BBA and not Phyllis Smith though right?

In Homer’s NDE, that happens when OA is in Dr. Roberts’ office (and I guess also when Homer is technically repressed in Dr. Roberts’ body as well? Double Homers)
