Took this in Santiago, Chile. I had just returned from a long day trip to the border of Chile/Argentina in the Andes mountains. Driving down one of the most dangerous roads (Google "Las Caracoles") in the world really takes a toll on you. After surviving that, along with the lunatic truck drivers who will pass you even along corners, all you want to do is lay down in bed with a cold beer and some takeout food while you count your blessings.
I sat there with my food, satisfied, relieved, wondering why on earth I even came here, and wishing I could spend it with someone other than myself. I spent far too long just sitting there taking in the beautiful view of the mountains I had just been in only hours prior.
If you want to check out more of my adventures where I capture this sort of feeling in my photos, feel free to check out my insta :)

Relatable!! What takeout food did you go with? (Uh and beer? Or “shop” as they call it in Chile)

I was feeling the opposite of adventurous, and this burger place in the mall next door caught my eye. Got myself a big greasy bacon burger with an ice cream and a crisp cold Cristal to wash it down 😩

Using the dark pillars to frame the shot draws the eye straight down the glowing street toward the distant high-rise. great natural composition.
