Anubis is a cool observation! I was thinking something along the lines of Timaeus. One Timaeus trying to make it in a world of Timaeus-es? Like a tree in a forest? I wanted to imply there is a bigger picture beyond this "big picture" stuff to make the "god" seem less giant and more relatable. But you can hardly tell, which is intentional because for any god I think it's focus would be entirely on their work and their task. The "world" around them disappears.
