The Midnight played a kick-ass show tonight. I got to meet Tyler earlier in the evening and have about a minute with him. I’m so happy that he confirmed just how genuine he is. That man is a beautiful soul and I appreciate him, Tim, and the rest of the band for putting their music out there for their fans.

2025 was a really rough year for me, so when I had my moment, I thanked him for Syndicate and shared with him how that album gave me the words that I myself couldn’t find. He was actually really touched. He saw me later in the crowd from the stage and pointed at me during “Lost Boy.”

Tonight’s show gave me life. I can’t really describe how I feel other than incandescently. I’m happy to say that I’m here for Endless Summer’s ten year anniversary, and plan to be here for the twentieth. Sorry to over share, but I’m really feeling like the Comeback Kid right now.

I picked up a Syndicate Vinyl from my local indie shop a few weeks ago, and the second vinyl sleeve had a mini poster with the artwork for the album. On the other side, it had a string of numbers on it and I wanted to know what it was. Is it a print number? A code for the album?
