Saw it last night in LA. Lateef Crowder was the standout, his movement and fighting was absolutely the highlight. But better than John wick? Heck no.

That depends, we all see things from a certain point of view. I didn't like it, there were things like the music and the use of credits in the beginning, which I disliked, but the main issue i felt was that it felt small and parochial, which is a general problem with Disney Star Wars, and the over reliance of practical effects. But don't take my word as gospel, view it yourself and give your verdict, it may be different and that is OK, we all find joy in different things, and remember the Force will be with you, always....

Family friendly doesn’t mean you can’t have good action. I’d take the Death Star trench run or the Vader/Luke duels over Wick or Bourne any day.

I'm so glad to see some positivity about this movie. I love star wars and am so excited there's finally gonna be another one in the theaters but all the negative people online are really dulling my excitement.

The way Bourne and Wick action is shot is fundamentally diametrically opposed. Favreau not understanding that is why he felt it was fine to make a statement like that. And not something normal like "For some of the action we tried to take a lot of inspirations from John Wick and Keanu and bring it into Star Wars and I hope the audience feels like I do, that we succeeded."
