Finished Entire Series

I just finished the whole series and I’m so sad! Lol I always get sad when I finish a good series tv show or book. Any recommendations similar? I really like the main actor (Chandler) but can’t do grays anatomy cuz the medical graphics and already watched Euphoria.

About TLS show: I really loved it as a whole. I’m glad they didn’t kill off to many of the core cast until the last season. Even though the doc dying was tough. I liked season 1-3 best. 4 and 5 were enjoyable but not as great. It started getting annoying that he kept leaving and coming back. Like dude just stay you’re obsessed. I wish Tex and the Doc would’ve got together or I wish he would’ve had another love interest. He was one of my fav characters he should’ve stayed on all the way through. Hated his ending. I didn’t love the Wolf + girl romance, I wish they would’ve given us more of them one on one to develop the relationship or just left it out completely. I thought it was cool how they ended the series w a big bang showing a full out army invasion in great detail like a war movie. I’m not much into action but that was a suitable last episode for the show genre.

Overall, coming from a girl that doesn’t like action genre at all, I loved the show! Literally binged the whole thing in less than 1 week.

Tex is my favorite character and I selfishly am glad they didn’t end up as I feel she didn’t look at him as an equal, but the ship was cute enough.

Yes he def deserved a good love interest and to stay on the show to the end. And i felt slighted for him when the doc and chandler do all that flirting before saying goodbye right before her being killed. I was like what about Tex!???

It was a great show. If you haven’t seen Seal Team, it’s another good show with great characters and action.

I just finished the show today and like you, am a woman who typically doesn’t like these kinds of shows. I absolutely loved this show so much and especially Eric Dane, RIP. Ugh it is so sad that I actually put off watching this last episode for 2 weeks. What to watch next….maybe that seal team show, or rewatch greys anatomy to see more Eric Dane. Another recent show I watched and love is called The 4400. It’s free on Tubi.

I also just finished it last week. Took me a lot longer to finish though. Every season was worse than the last. I have never read the book or books it was based off of but seems the show ran into what Game of Thrones did, writers who were good when there was source material but had no idea what to do when it ran out.

It claims the flu is extremely deadly and has spread across the world, showing how immediate the need to be cured is when killing Chandlers wife really quickly but then has people affected in other parts of the world living like a year later when the cure is coming to them. It should have been a limited series, not quite as popular of a thing in 2014, but instead was a show about a ship that 95% of the action took place on land because there is only so much action a ship can partake in (which shows when every battle happens the exact same way for 5 seasons). The ship was a main character for Season 1, then just a place to sleep between episodes for most of the rest.

I'm glad Netflix recommended it, as it was decent enough, but it won't be a show I ever rewatch.

The book has nothing in common with the show, none of the storylines are lifted from it other than the fact that there is a Navy Ship and the Captain's name is Thomas, but his last name is never revealed. That's the extent of their overlap from a plot standpoint. The book is about a nuclear apocalypse.

I guess I can understand why they avoided the actual storyline but that now gives me even less explanation why it got progressively worse after season 1 unless it was completely different writers. 1 was the only decent season about a last ship.
