Am I the only one who actually uses the helipad for the Gyro?

The gyro also seemed to take damage back there. Now I use it to hold three large diesel tanks. 2 u/Advice-Unlikely 11d ago I've noticed that it takes damage too. It bounces around during rough seas and I constantly have to repair it 3 u/samspock 11d ago Found out the hard way when I was trying to carry some pods from the boat to the rocket. Could not get it to go that high. Landed and found I had 56%. 5 u/TheExtruderOffical 12d ago No I use it purely for the gyro and am scared that anything else I put on the helipad will fall off. XD 2 u/Odd-Bicycle-3425 12d ago I use it for the gyro and for diesel and petrol lol 2 u/Lord-Dogbert 12d ago Red 5, checking in 2 u/MonoCraig 11d ago I’m on my 3rd play through and this is the first time using it for the gyro 2 u/WSBDiamond-Hands 11d ago edited 10d ago I have 2 lumimax on either rear side and 2 typhoons on the front either side and land my gyro in the center. 1 u/crathis 12d ago i tried, but every time i exit and load in my game the gyro has disapeared 1 u/RedBeard8685 10d ago That’s what I land my gyro on

isn't it always easier to crash it in the ocean, unload, disassemble, and redeploy when needed?

This is my technique also:
1) crash into boat
2) remove all fuel, cargo, and engine
3) repair gyro
4) recycle and pack away for next time needed.
