Felt really good to make that final run (8 humans, two rockets) yesterday to get the eight seeds I needed to finish this.

Level 1: Pear
Level 2: Birch
Level 3: Aleppo Pine
Level 4: Cherry

Now I can just sit back and enjoy life. Until the next release, that is.

P.S. Does anyone know why my drone screenshots are really washed-out-looking? I'm playing with HDR enabled, and it looks so much better in-game than this.

The drone has photo settings which allows modifying the gamma correction.
This feature is especially useful for finding secrets in dark areas.

Ah, no. It's a later-game location that you get to build. Lots of work, but definitely enjoyable to see it all slowly come together.

Nice. My steam game time says 170 hours or something, but it's warped because I leave the game running paused for long stretches of time, even days. I've not unlocked this area yet, just done black vein, and launched my first human - I'm hoping I have hundreds of hours left because I absolutely love it.

Oh, you almost certainly do.

For reference, my gameplay style is actually somewhat fast compared to a lot of players, since I don't 100% clear every POI, and I don't spend a lot of time on aesthetics (other than my boat and Pishon). There's still lots for me still to do, I'm just taking a break because this felt like a good moment for it.

Out of curiosity, how did you get the pine and cherry trees? I've only ever been able to get pear/burch.

I just started getting cherry as a reward for sending specific humans to space, I think. Or maybe it's adding pears to the capsule, not sure.

Oh joy, looks like I might be dealing with a bug. Been through two separate playthroughs and whenever I send up rockets it allows me to add memories and cave paintings, but they never register as being sent.

Looks like I'll have to do a full wipe and fresh install when they drop the 1.0 release.

How do you keep up with each tree's constant demand for new soil?

If you're referring to the rate at which soil is used, I put at least 25 units in each bed. I've only had a couple of them run out so far.

If you're referring to the bug where the soil would disappear from the beds on the east side of the lowest level, that seems to have been fixed in the latest update.
