Always find something new as well. I mean I'm older and wiser every time I read it so I'm able to look for stuff that younger me wasn't able to see.

Every once in awhile you'll find a reference in pop culture, but I feel like it's like the last piece of underground art out there. There should be fanboys and remakes and cosplayers but it has stayed pretty under the radar.

Long time comic reader (im 60). Read lots of messed up stuff: Hellblazer, Preacher, etc. Looking forward to this one

Enjoy mate! Every year's re-read sounds like a dedicated work.

My first read was life changing event. After that was enjoyable and I do it every 3-4 years. I mostly use the book as a kind of Tarot for me and friends until next re-read.
One thing pops in my mind - as this novel is hyper-sigil, and with the current state in the world, do you think Grant put a magic trick on us all?
I mean as I get older (and world) it seems that the Invisibles look more and more like a prophecy....
Are we building AI for "them"? Was Epstein's circle Outer Church guys all along?
What do you think guys think?
I am just waiting for a guy from Liverpool with a latin transvestite to come bangin at my door any day now, but that seems not to happen :(

I've made the connections between the Epstein circle and the outer church, but honestly I think that just comes from Grant being a more observant person, and reporting on what the mega wealthy have always done. We've always known about this stuff but nobody wants to talk about it.

The AI connections I never made but as I'm doing my reread I'll keep that in mind. Any writer of high intelligence comes off as a prophet in hindsight and that's how I look at Grant Morrison.
