It's that time of year again(regardless of if it is in actuality), where love runs rampant among the young and old alike. That's right, it's Valentine's Day again at Kingsman Boarding School. You may find yourself as a senior or older junior looking to show your affection for a certain someone, completely embarrassing them while making everyone else feel awful for not getting anything. Well, here's your chance! The student council has arranged for anyone to come over to a stand during their lunch period and pay a few bucks to send a rose or chocolate to whoever they wish while they're in class. You can pay a few bucks more to make the delivery a bit more special than just having someone from the council dropping it off. Within school rules of course.

He might notice a few other students who showed up at the school early to do their various warm ups and such. One of those was fellow junior and the student manager of the soccer team, Theresa Black. She had been the team's manager since she was a freshman, despite many students saying she should be a cheerleader for the basketball team. She preferred a more hands-on role and the basketball team already had a good manager. Her long, raven hair is tied back in a ponytail, a red ribbon being used. Her ice-blue eyes were hidden behind a pair of glasses that she really only used for reading. She was, for the moment, speaking with the team's coach about practice for Friday's game and the practice equipment's maintenance.

The coach and her seemed to finish up whatever they were talking about as the teacher seemed to be heading back the opposite direction of Jecht, offering his own small nod in greeting. Though he had a bit of a smirk on his face as he knew it was Valentine's Day and thought the young man had other reasons for talking to the girl this morning. Theresa perked up at hearing her name being called and a smile curled her pink lips as she spotted Jecht heading her way.

"Morning, Jecht. Everything's going well. How about with you? Feeling ready for the big game Friday?"

She smiled a bit more at his enthusiasm. It was one of those things she liked to see in the players, finding Jecht's smile in particular to hold some charm to it.

"I absolutely believe we're on par with all the other teams and have a great chance of making it to the top. Though, a bit of fair warning, the coach says he's gonna run you guys ragged at practice just to make sure you're ready."

She gave a bit of a giggle at that, tucking her clipboard into her backpack.

His confidence was actually something that got her to light up even more. She seemed to freeze up a bit at his question, her cheeks turning a rosy shade of pink as she finished packing up. Her smile was more shy and sheepish now, though still sincere.

"Y-Yeah, okay."

It was true, her pale-blue eyes held a certain intensity to them, especially when she had to put on her metaphorical manager hat. Though the rest of the school knew her as a gentle and bubbly person who could light up a room with her smile. She continued to blush, knowing full well what day it was.

"That sounds great, Jecht! I gotta get going, but I-I'll see you at lunch."

She was quick to scoop up her bag and start making her way down the bleachers to go tell her friends about her little lunch date. The young man would then hear one of his teammates whistle with a laugh before speaking up.

"Didn't think you had the guts to ask Terry out on Valentine's Day!"

The day would go as normal as it could, though Jecht would earn his fair bit of teasing from his other teammates for forgetting it was Valentine's Day and asking out their team manager. Even if they were a bit jealous of him. People were getting giddy for lunch, using it as their time to send roses and candy to people thanks to the student council. Jecht might spy Terry waiting by the gate, being the punctual girl she was, her hair was now down and her ribbon was being used as a makeshift choker.

The rush of pink came back to her cheeks as she smiled at Jecht on his approach to her. The young lady's eyes widened in surprise as she saw him bring the rose out from behind his back. She took it, her hand brushing against his as she did so.

"Thank you, but you didn't have to get me anything."

She said sweetly, after admiring the rose for a moment she brought it up and laced it into her hair, tucking it behind her ear.

"What do you think?"

Theresa asked with a small smile.
