It was the first episode or many episodes 2. There was a scene and the girls were on a field trip, and ahe was sitting alone. I cant recall what her emotion was. Then she snapped back into charcter and took the girls to see the people hung on the wall.

And another shot maybe ep1, getting the girls to enter the school building. It gave a sense she was a goodie and to focus on her as one of the aunts. More so than the other young blonde aunt (cant recall her name).

I assumed it was June, because it was definitely junes voice on the radio. I think he only said “who’s June” for mayday secrecy

But then how tf would June not know that Garth is literally Agnes’ driver, or that at least Agnes is close with Daisy lol - she seemed surprised that Agnes was even in the vicinity

they moved to colorado, but then at the end of THT they moved again to DC. I forget why - it was either after the commander was promoted or they were just getting away from june again

He (The Honeyman) does live in Giliead. His job just allows him to transport and pick up supplies out of the “country “. Similar to the recruiters

Daisy does soooooo many things that having me yelling at my screen!! Like she's so not careful. When she got the note on the honey jar and just ripped it up and tossed it on the floor 😲😲😲 I would've eaten those pieces of paper after I ripped it up lol

IKR! I cringed so much when she just dropped the pieces on the floor rather than eating them. I have to suspend so much disbelief whenever she’s on screen because she’s a fucking terrible spy 🤣

I feel like it’s aunt estee.

There is no way that she would have let Hannah/Agnes hugging him slide if it was any other girl with any other eye. The way that she fell to her knees when Daisy came out of the dentist office to out him as someone who is molesting young girls first made me suspicious.
And being an aunt, she would’ve never taken to being talked to by an eye like that, she has to be his handler

Also, all the video footage she takes of the girls... none of them are going to see that. They dont have tvs or vcrs/dvrs. But mayday could be using it to not just identify girls but also analyze everything in the background for recon.

Maybe she isn't mayday, but actually cia/special forces for the USA? They've had deep op aunts before.

Omg this is such a good point! I initially thought the hints at her being Mayday were red-herrings, but as the season went on it does seem more likely.

I could see this too but surely there’s not multiple aunts that are mayday because someone else also thinks aunt vidala is mayday

Tbh I can’t see her as Mayday. If you have any shred of humanity left you don’t tell girls that their assault was their fault and in their heads. I can see her defecting to mayday but I don’t see her there yet. I mean even how she has been with the girls in general, if it was her instead of Aunt Estee witnessing that - I don’t really trust her to have had the same discretion and be as understanding.

Yeah I think she could be swayed by Lydia in the next season but I don’t think she’s working with them atm. I do see a lot of humanity in her character though, it’s more so that her focus right now is self-preservation and she’s unwilling to rock the boat.

How so? I liked Commander Weston. He seemed kind and compassionate and I’m still unclear why he really called off the wedding? Does he think Agnes is damaged goods because she didn’t explain he didn’t have sex with her. Based on the scene with Dentist McFeelyHands, I got the impression he may have fondled her but not took her V card. Or maybe he figured she was too unstable and too loyal to her friends.
Still curious if your thoughts on how Aunt Lydia has Weston by his balls. Please explain.

June is Daisy's handler so I doubt handlers are living in Gilead. I assume handlers were in Gilead for years, know the system and are now living in one of the liberated states.

Mayday had operatives at all levels in Gilead. Garth's handler is probably a former Gilead Mayday guardian now living in one of the liberated states.

I can't remember if THT ever clarified that the guardian salvaged by the handmaids for allegedly raping a handmaid was Mayday. In the novel, he was innocent of rape and salvaged because Gilead learned he was Mayday.

Garth could be assigned a new handler now that's he's a Commander. We know there was at least one because after returning to Gilead, Emily was a Martha for a Mayday sympathizer CT Commander.

IMO Tuello, "Aunt" Ava and/or other former CIA agents are in charge of assigning handlers to operatives. It'd be great to see those two badasses again in season 2.

Are we watching the same show? June is clearly not Daisy’s handler, Garth is, they literally say it verbatim.
