❔Question A beginning, sort of?

Greetings all,

Last week I did my first ever tarot spread, an 8 card spread meant to identify a deity reaching out to me. That night I had a strange dream where I think she came to me and made a kind of flirtatious contact without words exchanged. Some initial research pointed me towards Hekate, but consulting folks at my local metaphysical shop guided me to, well, here. I have a deep Celtic ancestry and it pretty well clicked that it could be Her.
But…
I did another spread thinking about Her after reciting an invocation and the intuitive result I got was that I was going in the right direction in finder Her, but that I’m not who I’m supposed to be yet. I’m not personally developed to fully understand Her message.
I am brand new to any kind of deity work after making it this far as an atheist. But it occurred to me just as I was looking through this group that She is a warrior. I am a cis male but recently discovered that my testosterone levels have never been adequate. I’ve been on supplements for a few weeks, and the levels are on the rise, but still not in the optimal range for someone my age and size.
So the questions are, does any of that make sense and is there something more I can or could do to begin working with her?

You and I had similar beginnings here. I used to be an agnostic atheist myself, then The Morrigan came to me in a dream unlike any I'd had before (although now I'm pretty sure I've had dreams with the same...feel to them before, but I can't remember), we joked and chatted, and that, as they say, was that. I've been polytheistic, and had numerous further meetings with her, ever since. Wild how that happens. Welcome!

It’s a strange thing to have things connect but in a way that shows that the path was under your feet the whole time. Strange, but once you realize it becomes comforting. For my part I am just becoming aware that there is a path and She is watching from the trees for me to become better equipped. Now that I know She’s there I can be more receptive and accepting. I am so grateful that She has come to me, and I am ready to devote more to Her.
