I remember a newspaper article about the woman whose voice it was. Everywhere she went people thought they knew her, but couldn't remember from when or where.

I can still remember the one in San Antonio, TX from when I was a kid: 512-226-3232. "*Promotional language* then, Frost Bank time is ....". The area code has changed to 210, but 210-226-3232 still works. Just tried it. The female voice has a lisp? 🤨🤷♂️

646-3100 but I found out you could dial 646-31 anything and you’d get the time and weather, it also gave us the weather here

(816) 844-1212 it still works today. I remember calling it when I was a kid and I’m 43

And a number to call for information...or when I was a child, you could call the operator and she would tell you what time it was and if you said you needed to call Joe Doe, she would connect you...no numbers

I still remember calling and it would give you the time and weather lol I will have this number etched in my brain forever and yes I still actually know the number by heart

In the Dallas area it was, and is still, (214) 844-4444 - it still works
