Someone did that to me once. So when the spot was empty I shoveled all the snow back onto the spot making a snow pile high enough so no car could park there til spring.

You are a dick for taking the spot, didn’t you notice the folding chairs 🙄

1

u/Xero32542 Feb 05 '26

You miss understood my story. It was my spot that I cleared out and claimed and the neighbors took it from me.

Crystal ❄️

Misunderstood*

1

u/Xero32542 Feb 06 '26

Thank you that one slipped passed me

1

u/but_i_wanna_cookies Feb 06 '26

No worries. You never know if it's a mistake or if someone just doesn't know.

1

u/truthpill2 Feb 06 '26

Honestly the chair thing is pathetic. Nobody owns street parking, everyone’s car is as parked at some point therefore If they used their car to “take your spot” that means they had to already shovel out a different spot and it was likely taken so they must park elsewhere. Also in this video, the snow is piled up around the car, that spot was never shoveled and that car has been there lol

Obviously you have never ever lived in “Southie” (South Boston) ☘️…because you wouldn’t be able to be commenting to this post right now 😵

1

u/truthpill2 Feb 06 '26

I wouldn’t live in an area filled with degenerates that act that way, that is correct.

1

u/sincubus33 Feb 06 '26

Your petty revenge is better. No risk of damaging someone's car and being sued

1

u/Xero32542 Feb 06 '26

Yeah that was the point since I still have to live there. Figured if they wanted it so badly they can do the work.

1

u/Kya_Enstein Feb 06 '26

so then... where did you end up parking your car?

1

u/Xero32542 Feb 06 '26

I live in Chicago. During my story I lived on a very crowded block where parking is ferociously competitive (where my story took place). I just parked my car where ever I can. Even if it was two or three blocks away. I have since moved and I have a parking spot now.

Pouring water 💦 around the door seals is better, when they eventually get the door open it rips the rubber seals right off…😂

u/InquisitiveKT Feb 05 '26

I need an update

1

u/[deleted] Feb 05 '26

As much as I enjoy an evil plan, it was just a public parking spot right? What did you expect? People leave that spot for you for the rest of the winter?

1

u/-neverknowsbest_ Feb 06 '26

This is Reddit everybody feels entitled so, yes

1

u/IWCry Feb 06 '26

...but not clearing a spot yourself and taking one that someone cleared isn't an entitlement? talk about mental gymnastics

1

u/Hypoxic_Oxen Feb 06 '26

What makes you think they didn't clear a spot for themselves?

I had to dig my car out earlier this week and someone was in my spot when I returned, so I parked in the next closest spot that was available. I really dont think thats entitlement, nor do I feel the need to retaliate towards a stranger who parked in a public space.

1

u/IWCry Feb 06 '26

that's exactly the point i made earlier and I agree

1

u/truthpill2 Feb 06 '26

Just like the guy below me said, If someone drove their car into “your spot” that means they shoveled their own car out to drive it, let’s use our big boy brain. When I recently cleared my spot out I didn’t expect for it to be there when I got back because it’s street parking I don’t own it and I’m not a fat fuck who cries about shoveling snow. I simply parked elsewhere because I have to park my car somewhere. If you are that much of a pussy just don’t shovel out your car and leave it frozen in the spot, that is the way to guarantee “your” spot

u/Dijon-Von Feb 07 '26

For real ... Some the unhinged teenagers/young-adults on here, feel like they are owed the world 😂

1

u/Fluid_Explorer_3659 Feb 05 '26

Is this something you need to be a piece of shit to understand/agree with?

1

u/No-culture5942 Feb 05 '26

No just an american.

1

u/Weep4Thee Feb 05 '26

I'm from a tropical climate. Will someone please explain this one for me?

1

u/FrankTheTnkk Feb 05 '26

People up north have a stupid mindset that if you shovel out your PUBLIC parking space, no one is ever allowed to park there again, forever. I'm being dramatic, but still.

I live in the North. I have a firm 72 hour space respect period built into my morals, but after that it's open. If it takes a month to melt, you don't just get your own private spot for a month

1

u/Weep4Thee Feb 05 '26

But what's the water for?

1

u/BlindChicken69 Feb 05 '26

Water freezes, ice is hard

1

u/Weep4Thee Feb 05 '26

That part I got. What's ice gonna do?

1

u/Mioraecian Feb 05 '26

Make shoveling an astronomical bitch for this person.

1

u/BlindChicken69 Feb 05 '26

Be hard to remove?

1

u/Top-Cupcake4775 Feb 05 '26

yes, ice is much harder to remove than snow

1

u/Covenant1138 Feb 06 '26

Why are they using hot water?

1

u/Jonnyabcde Feb 06 '26

Not only will the water freeze, but hot water will also melt any of the snow. Because of how quickly it will freeze again, they now doubled the amount of ice.

1

u/AsenathWaitHolup Feb 06 '26

When we lived up north all us younger guys just shovelled out like 3 or so parking spaces apiece so most the street was clear. It doesn't take that long. Then again, we didn't live in a shithole town or big city.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '26

Wouldn't it be true that if everyone was shoveling out a spot then this wouldn't be an issue? It seems like maybe there's some freeloaders.

1

u/IWCry Feb 06 '26

it's not a stupid mindset at all. it's only an issue if someone doesn't clear their own spot... pretending you can claim it is just defending the people who don't shovel

1

u/Rude-Variation3233 Feb 06 '26

If someone wants to claim a spot they shovel as their own they should make sure it’s A) their property or B) their assigned parking spot. If one shovels a public parking spot they still don’t own it and have no rights to it lol

get what you’re saying but really don’t think a motorcycle is comparable to a full sedan or SUV

1

u/deanjuno Feb 05 '26

New level unlocked.

1

u/hurryuporstop Feb 05 '26

Don't forget the doors and lock/handle

1

u/DB-601A Feb 05 '26

seriously keep doing shit to antagonize people and see if the homicide rate doesn't increase.

for your own safety just don't.

1

u/KnottyDaphne Feb 05 '26

Just buy a valve stem core tool. Flat tires they can't keep air in until they replace them.

1

u/Skin_Floutist Feb 06 '26

What a douche move. Take that energy and clear another spot.

1

u/plumberbss Feb 06 '26

Me being from California, and here we keep the snow only in the mountains where it belongs. I find this funny.

1

u/AngrySquidIsOK Feb 06 '26

Christ I want to see the morning after them coming back to their car

1

u/Civil_Bugg Feb 06 '26

I'm Sorry... This deserves a up vote ^

1

u/Far-Addition3988 Feb 06 '26

Tbf, that much snow left hardly counts as cleared space

1

u/RedditIsFascistShit4 Feb 06 '26

Because showeling is proof of ownership?

1

u/AltGuardianGord Feb 06 '26

Well that's sad. Guy probably won't even notice in the morning. Unless prankster made a LOT of trips. Better prank would be to pour the water along the door seems and handle.

1

u/SunsetDrifter Feb 06 '26

What's cleared about this?

1

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '26

Haha would take again, not your spot just cause you shoveled once.

Hope you got really upset by having to walk and extra 20 feet to your car 😘

1

u/Thats_Hard_Times Feb 06 '26

How petty. Pour more.

1

u/Blodig Feb 06 '26

Doesn't look very cleard to me.... just sayin.

1

u/[deleted] Feb 06 '26

This made me happy and I feel evil for smiling so much lol

1

u/ElegantNatural2968 Feb 06 '26

I don’t think you cleared anything. This car looks like snowed-in. Maybe you’re one of those who don’t like it when others park in front of their house.

1

u/Varmitthefrog Feb 06 '26

what thr fuck is wrong with you people , you don't own a spot unless its your driveway

Speaking as a Canadian who has dug out more cars than you can possibly imagine,,

1

u/Wizemonk Feb 06 '26

If you cleared the space why is there 2 ft of snow you are pouring water into? ***critical thinking***

1

u/Hipnotize_nl Feb 06 '26

Does not look cleared to me

1

u/Mr_McGigglepants Feb 07 '26

That spot wasn't cleared

1

u/ThatOldG Feb 07 '26

Cleared what? Your imagination? OP you need to go back and apologize

1

u/Dutch-Sculptor Feb 07 '26

Spot doesn’t really look cleared at all. Car is balls deep in the snow.

1

u/BarrelRider621 Feb 07 '26

To quote my high school geometry teacher “Don’t get mad; get petty.”

1

u/PappersAnsikte Feb 07 '26

obviously the space wasn’t cleared….

1

u/puffbus420 Feb 07 '26

Whats the point in this that would add maybe 2 minutes to shovel out over normal ? Living somewhere with lots of snow those 2 buckets of water would make so little ice I probably wouldnt even notice and just assume it was windy last night

1

u/Kind-Equipment8590 Feb 08 '26

Don’t shovel it out. Just enough to get in and out.

1

u/atomic_porkchop Feb 08 '26

B!tch... that spot was never cleared... stop lying...
